Excellent food and special wines

We had the five course menu and greatly enjoyed everything that was put before us. High quality ingredients, very well prepared and presented. The wine menu included some special makers and quality and matched the food well. We will surely return and can highly recommend Natur.

Excellent wine bar with great food

This cosy wine bar was packed with people, but the service was very efficient and attentive. Many interesting wines (with a focus on so-called natural or craft wines) were offered to affordable prices. The food is much better and of a higher standard and quality compared to most other wine bars. Natur was a very enjoyable dinner and wine tasting experience.

Great food and very intimate

We were recommended this restaurant by a waiter at another restaurant earlier in the day. He told us it is very popular and there probably wasn’t a chance we’d get a reservation but we should try. When we called to make a reservation they were of course booked. When we explained we were only in town for the day they made a big effort to accommodate us and we are so glad they did as it was a very wonderful experience. The restaurant itself is small and intimate. The menu has four starters, mains and deserts. We had the scallops for starters, lamb for main and chocolate for desert. All full of flavours and rich and plentiful. The staff were also fantastic. We can’t speak Swedish and they all spoke English and we had a good chat with several of the waiters who were so friendly and warm. They even gave us recommendations on where to go later in the evening. Special mention to Frida (hope I spelt her name correctly) who looked after us. She was very friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Supercozy luxurious feeling

My partner and I went for a Sunday dinner package where you get a three course meal for 299:- where the chef gets to decide which seasonal ingredients to serve. The staff was really nice and funny, they made sure we had a good time. They explained all the meals in detail and my partner also got the complementary wine package which he was very impressed with the wines and cherry they picked out to go with the meals. The food itself was a whole experience, it was so delicious and we went from there with a great memory and definitely recommend everyone to try it out!

Excellent food

Five of us visited and tried a wide range of dishes between us. It was all excellent. Really tasty and well prepared. It's a bit pricey but all restaurants in Gothenburg were in this price range. Vegetarian options were lovely.

Hidden gem.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Natur. We loved the welcoming staff and the owner was great in giving advices on food and wine pairing. Our meal was great. I would have just appreciated it more being informed of the price of the wine suggested to us. It is always better to know the price in advance (they do have over 400 lables and bottles but still, when presenting us with the choice, price could have been showed).

Roller coast experience

This was our second visit to Natur. First time was some 5-6 years ago, that time a very pleasant visit. Generally speaking the food is good and well presented. We had booked a table for two, 19.30, 27.12.2022, and orders chefs 5 course meny with accompanied wine package. The reason for giving it "average" is because of two things, namely: 1) For a couple of dishes had sauces made from reduction, these was too salty and pulled down the otherwise very tasty dishes. 2) For the main dish we had a red wine, can't remember the name. My wife had finished her glas of wine and told me that there was sediment in it. I had about half a glas left and saw that it was full of sediment. I called on the female waitress and showed her the glas. She excused it, but didn't return with a new glas of wine. OK, I thought, they may refuse the bill. Nope, no reduction or any other form of compensation. I think such a service is below what one could expect from even a mediocre restaurant, and definitely not from a restaurant like Natur.

We went here with our 13 year old and another couple and had the most delicious food and wine. Our 13 year old had veal and his words when I asked him how it was he leant over and whispered “mum, it is absolutely delicious” :) The rest of us had the flounder wich was just cooked perfectly and again deeeelicious! We had some beautiful starters and a stunning bottle of wine.. I can only give this place 5stars so that’s what I’ll do. Unfortunately we can’t return for a while as it was quite pricey but I can’t recommend enough. Save up and go! A great food of memory.

Unforgettable food and service

We were a group of friends who went to dine at Natur and each one of us was totally blown away by our dishes. Everything from the non-alcoholic drink options to the starter, main and desert was of incredible high quality. Creative combination of flavours and and amazing textures - hard to beat this experience! Very much recommend going here for an unforgettable food and service experience. We are definetely returning.

A top culinary visit

I have often visited Natur and after each visit, the kitchen and FOH staff leaves me more satisfied and more happy than my last visit. The chefs’ cooking skills are never standing still, never falling into an everyday routine, it’s always evolving. Whether it’s the beef tartare or the fish dish, the chefs make it impossible for me not to find new tastes or depths, even though I’m not even half qualified to make those judgments! The staffs knowledge around the restaurants wines is exceptional. New surprises occur with every visit. Not once have I asked to look at a wine list, they just know what goes with what. Go there.

A very cozy restaurant with kind staff. Serving sizes are not too small and provide an exciting range of tastes and textures. The staff readily recommends wines that go with your order from the many bottles that are displayed around the restaurant. The price is slightly higher than average but well worth it.

Wow what an experience

I visited Natur for the 5 course tasting menu. Firstly, the atmosphere inside the restaurant is small, cosey and very cleverly designed. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and choose us an excellent wine based off our preferences and what we would be eating. The meal itself was incredible, extremely rich and perfectly cooked. Dishes which stood out were a dish of flounder with mussel sauce, artichoke, buttered leaks and walnuts, as well as the beef tartare. 100% recommend this restaurant. Should be featured in the Michelin guide!

We were a group of 24 people (the largest they´ve ever had before was 12), but they managed to get everything to work in a fantastic way. Everyone was well catered for, the food was fantastic and the matching wines worked beautifully together with the food. Thank you!!

Excellent food, vegetarian alternatives with special touch, and dreamlike dessert.

Excellent food - perfect fish, vegetarian dishes were also delicious and had an original twist. The dessert was a dream. Service and booking of menues were a bit confusing, as we were a rather big group having various preferences and contact forms through different media and with different persons at Natur (digital booking, phone, email feedback, chat etc). It was not easy to to understand and communicate alternatives.

We had a wonderful experience at Natur. The host took us through all the meal options and made some excellent recommendations for wine pairings- all of which were beautiful wines. He was incredibly knowledgeable and patient with us. Our dishes were so delicious. Lots of attention to detail and care taken over the ingredients on the plate. Everything was pretty much perfect. If I lived in Gothenburg I would surely return! My only suggestion would be they make portions slightly bigger- especially for mains. My main was quite a small piece of fish and had no starches like potatoes or rice etc. so I was still a bit hungry after it. But overall a gorgeously intimate restaurant with wonderful food and friendly staff. Highly recommend!
