Throughout our meal we were given excuses for any mistakes that it was high pressure due to the end of school. Ok, maybe the wrong day to go out and celebrate just the end, but if you as a restaurant can't handle that pressure, maybe they shouldn't fully book that evening when the mistakes were a bit too many; Despite a table reservation, we had to wait for our table, which was not ready in time. We did NOT want to spend time at the bar before dinner but blocked the entrance waiting for the table… It took an unnecessarily long time to order. The starter went well, but the main course was served with the wrong side dishes for three of the party's dishes. When the right ones came in, we had almost eaten... When one of the party then received a sweet potato with 5 cm of melted plastic on it, we felt it was time for us to pay and leave. The waiter was too fast and talked to us while walking so hard to hear what he was saying. We did not get any information about the wines that were a package for the menu. There were supposed to be 3 glasses of wine with the menu package but only got 2. The beef tenderloin was not seasoned and neither was the potato gratin. Very sad as this, for me, has been a top restaurant.

Good food and wine but it felt like they just wanted to get rid of us. Started by showing us our table then they say you only have 1 1/2 hours sitting so you don’t have time to eat starters, ”you might have time to eat dessert if you are fast” 👏 We hadn’t even sat down here 😧 Then when it’s 5-10min left of our sitting they say that the next visitor is waiting for their table in the entrance, so are you ready? 😳

Hi Aziz and staff, have been with you a few times this summer -23. The last two times I've ordered seafood that you don't have on your regular menu, but no worries, Aziz arranged a menu that was absolutely fantastic on 7/29. On Saturday 19 August we were also at your place, then you surpassed yourselves with an extra touch on the menu, pure heavenly goodness, with mussels au gratin on the same menu as well as a friendly treatment and level of service beyond the usual from the staff. Like Esters, they have good food, love that they have shopping lunch, Sunday dinner and Esters classics. But this time we had mother's cousin from Finland with us and wanted to treat her to good food.... Was very surprised that Esters could not deliver a lactose-free pepper paste with beef fillet. All sauces contain lactose, the waiter said, yes except the red wine sauce. Disappointed. And then the lighting was very subdued where we sat. A little more light would have been good, for older eyes. You can't see so well at dusk.

We, a group of 3 ladies, visited you on Saturday 23/9. And what was supposed to be a nice evening, to celebrate my birthday, ended a bit awkwardly when we were asked to leave at 10 p.m I had booked a table at 20 and 21.30 the bill was placed on the table. We were told that the premises would be turned into a nightclub. Those of you who are keen on the clock may be able to figure out that it didn't give us much time to choose dishes and drinks, order, wait for the food and drinks to land on the table - and devour what we received. At At 22 we had just received the coffee and now we were informed that we were no longer allowed to sit at the table. I must admit that we probably seemed completely confused and quite upset when we got up, leaving behind half a bottle of wine and almost full coffee cups. We were probably most upset because the waitress came over to our table and said she had been told to kick us out. I had accepted without protest to move to another table. But dear Ester, here is some advice for you for another good Saturday. The booking made on your website, 21 days before the visit, showed that we had a table between 20:00 and 22:30. So without fear of repetition, it would have been great if you had informed us upon our arrival that the dinner adventure ended at 10pm. And finally, some crazy feedback from Copenhagen. A lovely evening with very good food and nice staff, elated atmosphere in an almost crowded room. The chefs must be mentioned who made a great effort in the kitchen with many eating guests coming at the same time!!!! Can be recommended!

We usually eat at Ester and the food (mostly beef fillet) is almost always good. They have good wines and it's cozy in the room. The experience depends a little on who is serving, just. There are some who are very good and just because of their service you feel like you want to come back, but the guy who served us yesterday is not nearly as committed. We visited Restaurant Ester for a business meal and the experience was great. The welcome was super, waitress very friendly and attentive! The menu offered a lot of choice including a nice variety of local Swedish dishes. The food was presented very well and tasted great!

As always an excellent meal in a pleasant atmosphere. One of the only restaurants where we feel we know we won’t be disappointed. The menu has been consistent for several years and has maintained its high quality. The only downside is that the prices have increased significantly but this restaurant is no exception , and is due to the current economic situation in Sweden.

Very good food. I ordered the fish and shellfish stew and it was great. Very tasty with a good amount of fish and shellfish. The service was good as well with attentive and friendly service. The starter platter to share was full of tasty starters.

Wish you had more time between aperitif, appetizer, and main course. The food doesn't have time to go down, because the portions are big. When you get the main course, you can only eat 1/3 of it, before "you go into the "wall" It's sad when you've eaten so much that you almost feel sick to have time to eat the food before it gets cold, even though you're actually too full I would never order a main course again...so unfortunately the restaurant loses with that tactic to force customers

Easy to book a table. Received a reminder via email the day before and also the same day that we had a Reservation. Warm and nice reception when we arrived. Nice service and fantastic food. Appreciate when the waiters come and ask if everything tastes good. You're seen as a visitor. We had to be a starter: Garlic bread Olives, tzatziki and bread Both really good - tzatzikin was delicious. Main course: Pepper paste with beef fillet, lettuce and parmesan. Meat, pasta, peppers, onions in creamy sauce. A good portion! Supergod🤩 Grilled char fillet with roe sauce, asparagus roasted amandine potatoes and grilled lemon and lettuce. So good!!
