Went there with a family and friends from a road. Wanted to show them something typical from Serbia. The atmosphere was great, we took roasted lamb and piglet with Šopska salad. The service was great, Marko was not intrusive, yet we never missed anything on the table. They also have a terrace that was closed due to the bad weather. Strongly recommend especially for people who are on the New Belgrade side. You will quickly get there and will have no parking problems!

It was a good dinner full of meat and veggies. Tasteful main dish, nice atmosphere, national live music.

What a pleasant discovery in the middle of Zemun. Their specialty, sac meat (we ordered pork and veil), were cooked to perfection. Barbecue meat has distinct flavor I was looking for troughout Belgrade, and couldn't find until now. Soup tasted good, and vegetable in salads is localy grown; it doesn't taste like supermarket plastic, which is frequent case in Skadarlija. I see no reason for complaints towards the waiter-he is old school, traditional waiter, and I found his attitude very welcoming. Everything he recommended was good. We will definitely come again.

I was lucky to be taken to Sač in Zemun by two local friends from Belgrade. They had phoned in advance to order the special smoked pork because it is slow cooked. The pork comes served with potatoes and the portion for two people is a lot! We also had salad, grilled peppers and beans. Service was friendly and efficient. They did bring me the wrong kind of wine once or twice but quickly fixed it when I told them it was the wrong one.
The Serbian house wine was very tasty and complimented the meal. It was delicious and a lot of food. It was good afterward to take a walk up to Garda tower

I have visited Restoran Sac Semun for the second time. It´s not so easy to find, but when you do, it will sure be a pleasure. The traditional food is served in big portions, an the lamb is a must. The menu is only in serbian, but the kind waiter kindly tried to translate into english. The atmosphere is very nice, with almost no tourists at least in the springtime. The only thing which is a little irritating is that smoking still is allowed in the restaurant, but Serbia is still Serbia!

Service was good but I am reasonably sure that my meal here gave me food poisoning. Definitely won't be returning!

Predivan ambijent stare Sinagoge. Cigla, muzika, jela ispod sača, desert. Izbor vina savršeno odgovara jelima. Uzivajte kao što smo mi...
A wonderful ambience of the Synagogue. Brick, music, prepared SAČ food, dessert. The choice of wine is perfectly suited to food. Enjoy as we are ...

This place gets busy so it's good to have a reservation.
Another problem is that it's very hard to find a parking spot nearby so consider using a taxi.
Although it's a bit outside of the city center, it's worth to come to Sac for their meat which is prepared under the bell.
Both the pork leg or the veal are amazing with a side dish of roasted potatoes.
Don't forget to get the famous Sopska salad.
The pork leg should be ordered in advance by phone.
The waiters are nice and will happily assist you with their offering.

Great appetizers in an astonishing place like the old synagogue in Zemun, and after that some lamb can neutralize the effects of quince brandy. But what is important is to be with your friends to share and listen excellent local music.

The restaurant itself isn't anything special, but their specialties are extraordinary good, with very decent price! Would recommend at any time.

Ex synagogue, hidden in the center of Zemun. Very friendly and pleasant ambient and very tasteful meals. Recommendation for brandy (rakija) and all meat made beneath the sač. Also try beans and sausages, big portion for small money :)

Lovely athmosphere in well designed interior of Old Sinagogue of Zemun. The food is superb, traditional style with more than affordable prices. The service is excelent. Do not miss veal or lamb in an old style clay dish called sač in Serbian according to which the restaurant bears the name. Pork knee is fantastic too. I would recommend it to all meat lovers.

Not the easiest to find, but this former synagoue is a well decorated finer restaurant for the area. Had an excellent oven lamb and a nice grill chicken fillet. No menu in English, staff is veru helpful. Pleanty of food, well cooked food.
People smoke in the restaurant as often i Serbia. Price level a bit more than in area but large servings and nice made from old jewish place
