I have no idea why we didn’t visit Mooncake already many years ago, but now that we’ve been there I can’t wait to go back and work my way through the rest of the menu. This small, cosy place offers a wonderful combination of flavors,...tradition and ambition, in a relaxed and warm athmosphere. The staff is great and since the owner, Edmund, spends most of his time with his guests, you have a good chance of hearing stories about the food and so much more. Unless you’re after a really posh and pricey place to impress, mooncake offers plenty of experience and gastronomy for the money. Delicious, beautifully presented meals. Excellent, thoughtful service. Great variety of appetizers and entrees, including Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese. The roasted duck was excellent. The owner, Edmund, took the time to chat with us and tell us about Sweden. Definitely will visit again!

We chose the tasting menu. It was a well executed and delicious Asian menu. You didn’t know you needed to eat here. Plus: owner and crew. Amazing attention.

We had the tasting menu with some sweet sake and a bottle of sauvignon blanc. The menu itself contained 8 dishes and they were awesome. I also had the best tuna ever. Highly recommended. Only con was that the restaurant has only one toilet.

Went with my colleagues for a dinner here and the food was to die for! Real Cantonese food, served nicely. The host is really nice and he speaks to every table and makes them feel welcome. Would definitely recommend

Tried their lunch today. Choice of 3, either take one or take a mix of all 3. I didn’t feel like the green curry so I asked for a mix of 2 and they were totally ok with it. The taste was ok but I...won’t make my way to the neighbour specially for the food. If I’m nearby and need lunch, I would go back.More
