I have no idea why we didn’t visit Mooncake already many years ago, but now that we’ve been there I can’t wait to go back and work my way through the rest of the menu. This small, cosy place offers a wonderful combination of flavors, tradition and ambition, in a relaxed and warm athmosphere. The staff is great and since the owner, Edmund, spends most of his time with his guests, you have a good chance of hearing stories about the food and so much more. Unless you’re after a really posh and pricey place to impress, mooncake offers plenty of experience and gastronomy for the money. I highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys a good balance of innovation, tradition and quality with influences from many asian cuisines.

The food was so good, and the people that works there are super kind and friendly. Many different things to choose from. And they have vegetarian, fish, meat, chicken, duck etc.
We didn't have time to eat dessert today but next time we will try that too for sure 😍
It was so delicious that I forgot to take photos of everything 😅

We went to eat here while on vacation in Stockholm. The quality of food here is amazing and I'm sure anyone can find something to their liking on the menu. The service in this restaurant is also great, the waiters were very friendly.

We hadn't booked a table, but luckily got a seat anyway.
There was a real check on everything, and you just feel welcome when a carafe of water comes immediately and before the starter a small appetizer. The taste was also really good - and that applied to all the dishes.
Atmosphere and decor were cozy.

Very tasty and good food.. There was also a lot of food for the money and very good service.. They prepare the food according to the strength you want, you want to have strong food, you get strong food and vice versa. Very well done.

Incredibly friendly and attentive service, good drinks, and a great menu with a lot of variety but without the worry of too many items.
My partner had the peking duck as it was the first time she ever had it, which was very nice (though I wish they would maybe offer a whole roasted duck for two as that's the way I love that dish. I had the tempura lamb chops which were tender and tasty. I probably would have asked for it to be a bit spicier if I was to order it again as I'm a bit more partial to heat than what normally passes for spicy in this country. The mango salad starter was delicious and is definitely one I'm going to look into learning to make.
All in all it was probably one of the most enjoyable meals that I've had in Stockholm since I moved here over four years ago - highly recommended.

Delicious, beautifully presented meals. Excellent, thoughtful service. Great variety of appetizers and entrees, including Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese. The roasted duck was excellent. The owner, Edmund, took the time to chat with us and tell us about Sweden. Definitely will visit again!

Our family had the pleasure to visit Mooncake. The food was good/great, really nice flavors and the service level were great and polite.
We should have tried more starters since the ones we did order were all great.
Also nice that Mooncake did offer some dishes from “little odd” countries like Cambodia.

Great boutique asian food restaurant. Very popular with locals. Helpful, friendly and efficient staff. Really interesting menu and the resident Chef produced some delightful food. All very tasty. If we had been staying longer in Stockholm we would definitely have gone once more to this restaurant. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We had the tasting menu with some sweet sake and a bottle of sauvignon blanc.
The menu itself contained 8 dishes and they were awesome. I also had the best tuna ever. Highly recommended. Only con was that the restaurant has only one toilet.

Went with my colleagues for a dinner here and the food was to die for!
Real Cantonese food, served nicely.
The host is really nice and he speaks to every table and makes them feel welcome.
