No wonder the place is crowded! Right by a beautiful square, close to communication!
You can order specials like four dishes, regular luncheon dishes witn non alcoholic beverage. The meny changes by even and uneven weeks. We had Curry Nasi Goreng, delicious and Prawn wok and Chicken with Cashew Nuts- spicy and
nice! Price? Skr 98! Will be back! Outdoor seating in the summer

Service was very good, food was not 5 star ( like you can have in China) but very good anyway,,can recommend this place and will of course come back again..

The kind of Chinese that came in the 70th and hasn’t changed since besides the addition of a few Thai dishes. For those who doesn’t like surprises.

The staff is incredibly BAD when it comes to service and the quality of the food can strongly be questioned. It doesn’t excuse that they’ve been along for a long while, this is only a place if you are desperate. And besides they definitely don’t like families with small kids even if the kids were sleeping and didn’t disturb at all they were even worse in service when entering with a stroller. Been here before without kids and the same story, incredibly bad service and food that taste like crap. You get better food in a famous hamburger restaurant actually. Get better or close down forever! If there were an option to give minus stars I would have given minus 10.

Traditional Chinese Restaurants In Sodermalm Stockholm.
We were a group of 8 persons stopped by for dinner while visiting Sødermalm on a Thursday night. Came early around 5pm, so only had about a 5 minute wait for a table.
We have had a lot of great Chinese food in our time. But Ming Palace has topped the list for taste, quality and service.

Very good authentic Chinese food prepared with love and quality. If you want real Chinese food, this is the place. The big favorites are salt and pepper squid, Hainan chicken, cucumber salad, and the duck noodle soup!

Really tasty authentic Chinese food! Seems like they have launched a series of new authentic food, and those were amazing!, you gotta know what to pick, they have both typical Western Chinese food, and then they have authentic ones, like Hainan chicken, kou rou bao, siu ngap tong mein, hong shao rou and more! They are typically good for sharing like you do in China

We ordered two dishes: pineapple chicken and oven duck. Chicken was a good average but duck was unacceptable - pieces of backside, mostly bones, fat and skin, all on some cabbage mixed with a sweet sauce.

Lunch here with my son, and we both ordered a shrimp wok.
My son described the food as Very good, in my opinion it was a profitable portion för the restaurant, because there were very little of those shrimps. Mainly vegetables, especially onion. I did not like the food, and I would not come back here.

So, visited on our first day there and because we just wanted to roll out of the hotel we strolled into the Ming Palace. We just wanted something simple so we had noddle's with meat. It was great and we really enjoyed it but a re-visit on our last night there to have exactly the same thing (I know, unadventurous), was awful. The food wasn't cooked properly and the noddle's where raw. Tried to return it but was told "that's just the way its cooked, you have to mix it a bit". I guess on our first trip they had the good cook and on our second trip we had his useless sidekick. Be warned, its a bit of a lottery.

Arrived here after a colleague wanted Chinese and we saw this place earlier. Compared to all the other places in the vicinity this is average at best, with my colleague 's fried rice having frozen veg included... bad sign. My noodles were partially hard, which makes you wonder...

The atmosphere here is quite simply a western perspective on asian design. Some will find it tacky and some will find it cute. But that doesn't matter when you go to eat a place like Ming. Prices are a little overpriced, but you may find some dishes priced lower. Spring rolls are nice to eat, but sometimes a little dry. I usually eat the duck here, but that also turns dry some times. I mean its not bad food, just don't expect a fine dining place here. It is asian food that probably has a lot of MSG in their food. It is open quite often, so my friends and I take the food with us as we there. Please see the pictures and understand more. I've never see the place filled with more than 4 people, even though it probably fits around 40-50 people.

Large restaurant with traditional Chinese-restaurant decor. The food is very adapted to western taste and not very exiting. However - prices are very low, and there is always room, which makes up for some of the other stuff.
Go here for an ordinary Chinese restaurant meal. You will be neither impressed or disappointed.
