The fish soup was really good, and the portions are generous. At SEK100, it's a real steal considering how good it is and how expensive things are in Sweden (Stockholm in particular). Comes with a lot of ingredients - shrimp, mussels, fish chunks - so it's really good and filling enough for a meal. There's also a free flow of... More

We were there relatively early for lunch and the place was already packed with locals. The girls at reception greeted us with a friendly smile and she understood English just fine. We ordered a bowl of fish soup and fried herrings. Around 100kr each I think. And of course,as usual, with complimentary salad and bread. After the first sip,i believed we'd... More

A small fish restaurant in a meat and deli market. Price is very reasonable and quality good as well. The fish and chips and fish soup were excellent. If I am to be picky, the mash potatoes with the strömming was not hot enough. There are not too many places to sit and it seems to be busy all the... More

Read that the fish soup was great and you could get a refill - Score! What I didn't know is that the bowls are huge to begin with and served right at the register when you order. No wait at all! Serve yourself bread and soup toppings and you're set. Already planning to go back in a few days to... More

Kajsas Fisk is in the basement level of a shopping complex along with a myriad of shops, so it is a big hard to find. But for my fellow tourists I will say use the Haymarket Square as a landmark. Yes, there was a long queue but I arrived for lunch at 11:30 and the line moved so I was... More

We had the fish soup at the recommendation of a lady in front of us in line and I'm glad we went for it! The bowl is HUGE and very hearty! We went around lunch time and the place was packed!!!

You can't believe you can have such yummy fish soup with just SEK100 in Stockholm where you used to pay SEK100+ for a takeaway sushi or Wok noodle! Prepare for the queue and you will have to wait for seat during peak hours.

I usually have the hearty fish soup here, it's good, full of fish and seafood and very affordable! The setting in the food hall makes it even better.
