Great place for “Fika”
In the middle of Haga park, nice 30min walk from the city. Awesome slope for sledding.
The apple cake was super.
They have parking.

If you visit Haga Park, then you should go to this attraction!
Also for tea/coffee you will go this place after few hours at the green valley of Haga Park.

During the wintertime this restaurant that sits in a park minutes north of Stockholm city center. The park was built in the 18th century by King Gustaf III. He built three buildings that looks like gigantic tents like the ones used in battle. In one of them there is a restaurant that serves fine swedish food. In the winter this is a quiet place where you can have private conversations by the open fire and there will not be a full restaurant full of noisy people outside is the park in its winter clothing. In the summer and specially during weekends the place will be full of people both inside and outside in the garden having lunch or dinner, perhaps after a nice strawl in the beatiful park (where the present crown princess resides). Food is really good but not exceptionally good. Prices are a bit over average but nothing over the top expensive.

We had walked in the incredibly beautiful park and went to the copper tents. We paid almost SEK 200 for two small applesauce and a completely inedible peach cake. A dry brownie with spray cream. We left without eating.

We had a long walk in the park. We wanted hot chocolate and sandwiches. The sandwiches was so dry and not tasty at all. Very expensive to.

The building has been there for hundreds of years and the restaurant looks simple but cozy and elegant. The ambience has a sort of homely feeling to it and we had some typical Swedish dishes, meat and fish, which were fantastic. The owner was very kind to come and greet our group and give us a brief introduction to the place.

To charge SEK 195 for a shrimp salad that looks like this is horrible. Hardly any salad at all, bread that is 2 days old and hardly any shrimp at all. Ashamed!
