Very authentic Japanese food, owners themselves are Japanese so they know what they're doing. If you feel a bit crazy go for special sushi otherwise the salmon they use is very tasty so I could have easily got a 10 piece salmon instead. If you want something warm try the chicken with karage sauce or a simple yaki niku if... More

Sushi was average at best. Overcharged, then all waiters disappeared for ten minutes. Blamed the computer and didn't apologize. Miso was 90% salt.

I'm not sure why this place is so lowly rated. The sushi was excellent and tasted very fresh. When we popped in there was not many people as it was 3pm, so we had no issues with timely service. I thought it was also incredibly reasonable in price for what we ate ($36 USD for 28 pieces of sushi). Would... More

The place is themed which might be something you like, or hate. Personally I didn't think it's bad, however, both times I've been there the place was empty and devoid of customers. Soon after you understand why. Even when empty you still get zero service. I had to get up and ask them to come and give us menus, then... More

This Japanese place is a tramp. The service is horrible, the tempura was too greasy and we could not eat it. The toilets were dirty and when we complained the host did not even apologize to us. We will never go back here.

For good sushi in Stockholm, head here. It's tucked away in the back streets of Sodermalm, but it's worth the effort of finding it. The decor is very Japanese, the fish is always fresh and the staff friendly & honest (no hidden extras). It's quite cheap (for Sweden) too. I've eaten here 8 or 9 times and never had a... More

After eating here last summer we decided to go to this well-located and quite large Sushi restaurant last night. We sat down, ordered some drinks and told the waiter we where waiting for rest of our party. When they arrived the waiter just brought us our drinks, so we ordered more and told him to come back shortly to get... More

A good sushi bar with a large menu. I personally did not like the green tea very much, but that's just me. A non-fish eater in our party said that the chicken dish was excellent.

Staying in Mariatorget

Neighborhood Profile
This rather quiet neighborhood revolves around a postcard-like park with a dramatic fountain in its center and is definitely one of Stockholm’s showcase neighborhoods. Mariatorget, a central residential area, is the best Stockholm has to offer when it comes to juxtaposing architectural masterpieces with sophisticated art galleries, coffee shops and bars. Stockholmers love to spend their weekends in the park or one of the nearby coffee shops, so come to Mariatorget to meet the locals. The northern part of Mariatorget boasts historic buildings, beautiful cobblestone streets, and one of Stockholm’s best observation decks, Monteliusvägen, from where you can see an amazing view of the city hall and Stockholm’s old town.
