Let me try to think of things I did not like about this place. The locations is ideal right by the Opera and by the Old TOwn section of Stockholm. It was another cold and snowy night in Stocklom in January and we ducked into here, 10 of us, filled in the open seats at the bar adn drank great... More

Ideal for lunch for the two of you, if you can accept sitting next to each other. Also ideal for a quick dinner before a visit to the Royal Opera in the same building. The food is all you ever wanted when it comes to the traditional Swedish dishes like köttbullar, Wallenbergare and kött i dillsås. A bit crowded sometimes,... More

This restaurant is a real must in Stockholm. We had dinner here and chose the seafood soup and the meatballs. They were delicious! Don't forget to try the Swedish beer and snaps! The service was outstanding. Do book as its a popular one!

We managed to get two bar seats without waiting, although a few patrons who came after us did have to, but not for long. We shared the smoked marrow and diced beef tenderloin. Yummy, yum, yum, but very filling, so glad we shared. The server was extremely attentive and even asked the chef to split our meal into two servings... More

I have eaten here on two separate visits to Stockholm and it is one of my favorite places to eat. Plenty of Swedish favorites like the meat balls, I love the Salmon, Grave lax with creamy dill potatoes. Delicious and filling. They always have a vegetarian option usually a kind of polenta dish with local mushrooms, the dark bread is... More

Small restaurant with cheerful blue and white tiles, small two-top tables and a U-shaped marble bar. Four of us sat at the bar and had a delicious lunch. Three out of four of our party got the flounder in brown butter sauce with almonds and it did not disappoint. The servers were nice and efficient. The movable caddy holding the... More

I went to a couple places for meatballs (including Pelikcan) and these were my favorite. Really tender and flavorful. Worth the stop!

On a Friday evening we, without reservations, were unable to find a table for dinner until we got to Bakficka. The soup and salad were very good and the steak was quite good. The potatoes served with it could use some spicing up but a few glasses of red wine overcame the lack of spice. The meal came to about... More

Great ambiance, staff and food. Close to the main tourist sites. The restaurant is a bit on the small side, so a reservation is certainly advised.
