After a terrible experience at another restaurant we were very satisfied with the good, polite service as well as the decor of the restaurant. The food was reasonably priced with good sized portions and very tasty. We left very happy that we had gone to Dionysos.

The service was good and the food too. We had an appetizer that was really good. We went for Valentine's dinner but the atmosphere wasn't that romantic. It fits more to go with family and friends. The place is pretty average, nice to try.

We arrived to Dionysos extremely cold after a long walk. In this restaurant we found what we were looking for, this is a nice steak and lots of warm from the waiters! The food was nice and the typical humus was also good. Worth a visit if you are around!

This is a great top line greek restaurant. Forget the greasy fastfood... this place offers extremely good food and professional service.

Went there with two friends on a Monday evening. We had starters (melitsanosalata, tsatsiki and kafteri for me), main dish (kalamares), and desserts (baklava with icecream), drank ouzo (very decently priced!) and a good retsina with the meal. Everything was fresh, appetizing and really good. It´s a nice restaurant, good service and absolutely good value for money. I will go... More

Must be Greeks running this place, especially in the kitchen. The food tasted the same as it does in Greece. Otherwise, the usual case is some kind of local adaption. But not here. Great! Anyway, service was excellent, food very good and plentiful. Excellent value for money. Situated in the middle of Södermalm in a nice neighbourhood. Highly recommended.

Staying in SoFo & Medborgarplatsen

Neighborhood Profile
SoFo & Medborgarplatsen
Throughout the last decades these neighborhoods transformed from a rather quiet residential area into the birthplace of Swedish hipsterism and became Sweden’s main hub for new fashion labels, independent coffee shops and innovative gastropub concepts. Despite their extreme transformation, SoFo (South of Folkungagatan) & Medborgarplatsen managed to hold on to their residential charm and quietness and became one of the most sought-after places to live among young people in Stockholm. This neighborhood is also home to Sweden’s highest student hall, Skrapan, which used to be the head office of the tax authorities and now combines a mix of student hall and shopping mall with a bar on top.
