Everything about this restaurant is classy. The decor (traditional wood panels, the lighting), the waiting staff in their jackets, and of course the food where you will find all the traditional Swedish favourites reinvented and beautifully presented. We had the lobster soup, the shrimp starter and the meatballs. It was all excellent. Well done Prinsen and keep on doing what... More

Modern side of town with many top global fashion retail stores next door. Old style very nice room from 1897. Almost American steak house but with much more character. Great for family, couples or biz meetings. Bread 7/10 hard rolls with salty butter Meatballs 8/10 large portion. Could split between 2 ppl. Potato 9/10 very tasty and not to much... More

We stepped in what is clearly a beloved establishment with a loyal clientele. We weren't disappointed. Our dishes were fantastic and refined versions of traditional Swedish Cuisine. All of the seafood we had was excellent. Would not hesitate to return.

Nice service. Delicious food (it is worth the price). They serve quickly. We ordered the meatballs and the fillet, we recommend both. Also they speak perfect English and they have menu in English. Enjoyable experience.

I went here with my wife and young son to see how Stockholm does 'fine dining'. we were met by very friendly staff, who even though we tried to converse in Swedish they very kindly spoke back to us in perfect English (I just wish my Swedish was as good). The menu wasn't vast but had all the classic Swedish... More

We stopped for dinner here because of a recommendation from a fellow visitor. We were seated outside under an awning with heaters. Nice selection of wine, beer and beverages. We shared the octopi appetizer and ordered the Swedish meatballs. Both of us enjoyed our meals. The staff was attentive and efficient. Would recommend this restaurant to others. Good value for... This restaurant was recommended to us by the hotel concierge, and it was really disapointing. The food was mediocre at best, and pricey like all Norwegian resturants. It was slightly redeemed by an interesting menu, really comfortable/cute decor, and decent service. You can get a much better norwegian meal for similar price at Bakfickan.

Prior to our arrival in Stockholm, I asked our hotel to give me a recommendation for a traditional and classic Swedish restaurant. We were given the Prinsen and a reservation was made. We were seated in the main dining area next to the window. Our waiter gave us some recommendations, but my wife and I could not resist the classic... More

Wonderful. The light, the ambiance, the service, the people. Lovely food and wine as well. This is truly a classic in Stockholm.

Was recommended by our hotel. We tried to go one night as a walk in but it was too busy so booked for the next and were not disappointed. We shared a starter (prinsens cabaret - so delicious) and then had meatballs and cured salmon for main but were too full for dessert. It is a lovely setting and the... More
