What a place! The old fashioned athmosphere and interior is relaxing and authentic. This was one of my best restaurant experiences in Stockholm ever. I am not talking three stars from Michelin but rather five stars price/quality. Having a fish dish (Arctic char?) where the chef combine flavours and ingredients in a way I cannot figure out myself resulting in... More

The outcome of some Google/Trip Advisor research but in summary although there was nothing particularly wrong it lacked any 'sizzle'. When you go in there's a lobby where you can hang your own coat up - nice touch in self service for a professed high quality restaurant. Inside it's pretty formal rather like - given I've some peripheral experience -... More

We went to this place a group of 30. Got a nice table downstairs with a set menu. The food and desert was simple but at the same time remarkably good. Wine selection very good. And to top it all was a facinating waiter right to the bone. In all aspects a pleasent visit which I will definately repeat on... More

The food was ok, but did in no way match the prices. The service was almost non-existent, as they had crammed as many tables as possible into the restaurant and didn't have enough staff on we were left waiting for way longer than desired between every meal. This would have been a fine place if the prices were cut in... More

I am not sure what people are expecting when they rate Prinsen less than five stars - no, it is not a restaurant to the stars with hot and cold running caviar and champagne and paparazzi but it hits everything right and is a great place to eat, The atmosphere is half formal, half friendly; it was mostly locals, not... Everything about this restaurant is classy. The decor (traditional wood panels, the lighting), the waiting staff in their jackets, and of course the food where you will find all the traditional Swedish favourites reinvented and beautifully presented. We had the lobster soup, the shrimp starter and the meatballs. It was all excellent. Well done Prinsen and keep on doing what... More

Modern side of town with many top global fashion retail stores next door. Old style very nice room from 1897. Almost American steak house but with much more character. Great for family, couples or biz meetings. Bread 7/10 hard rolls with salty butter Meatballs 8/10 large portion. Could split between 2 ppl. Potato 9/10 very tasty and not to much... More

We stepped in what is clearly a beloved establishment with a loyal clientele. We weren't disappointed. Our dishes were fantastic and refined versions of traditional Swedish Cuisine. All of the seafood we had was excellent. Would not hesitate to return.

Nice service. Delicious food (it is worth the price). They serve quickly. We ordered the meatballs and the fillet, we recommend both. Also they speak perfect English and they have menu in English. Enjoyable experience.

Thank Laura D
