I went here with my wife and young son to see how Stockholm does 'fine dining'. we were met by very friendly staff, who even though we tried to converse in Swedish they very kindly spoke back to us in perfect English (I just wish my Swedish was as good). The menu wasn't vast but had all the classic Swedish... More

We stopped for dinner here because of a recommendation from a fellow visitor. We were seated outside under an awning with heaters. Nice selection of wine, beer and beverages. We shared the octopi appetizer and ordered the Swedish meatballs. Both of us enjoyed our meals. The staff was attentive and efficient. Would recommend this restaurant to others. Good value for... This restaurant was recommended to us by the hotel concierge, and it was really disapointing. The food was mediocre at best, and pricey like all Norwegian resturants. It was slightly redeemed by an interesting menu, really comfortable/cute decor, and decent service. You can get a much better norwegian meal for similar price at Bakfickan.

Prior to our arrival in Stockholm, I asked our hotel to give me a recommendation for a traditional and classic Swedish restaurant. We were given the Prinsen and a reservation was made. We were seated in the main dining area next to the window. Our waiter gave us some recommendations, but my wife and I could not resist the classic... More

Wonderful. The light, the ambiance, the service, the people. Lovely food and wine as well. This is truly a classic in Stockholm.

Was recommended by our hotel. We tried to go one night as a walk in but it was too busy so booked for the next and were not disappointed. We shared a starter (prinsens cabaret - so delicious) and then had meatballs and cured salmon for main but were too full for dessert. It is a lovely setting and the... More

We had dinner at this restaurant on a nice, August evening. Upon arrival, the maitre d' asked us if we would Ike to sit "away from the cold draft" of the open front door. When we said that seemed like a good idea, we were escorted to a dark and very crowded alcove in the back of the restaurant. Sharing... More

I stumbled upon this restaurant and thought it a safe bet because it's sidewalk and inside tables were full. Warm ambience and friendly and effective wait staff told me the crowd was right. I had read several reviews of other restaurants urging readers to try Swedish meatballs, so I did. They were amazing, with port in the rich sauce, crisp... More

Very nice ambience in the centre of Stockholm. The food & service was excellent especially the meatballs which is a Swedish speciality The only let down was the price of the wine which is expensive wherever you are in Stockholm Visited with my wife & 2 friends & would return
