In a striking waterfront location on the shores of Stockholm’s greenest city island, Djurgården, Oaxen is a nautical-themed Nordic bistro set inside a stunningly-restored bright yellow shipyard. The light-flooded venue is split into two parts: Oaxen Krog is a fine-dining restaurant that’s picked up two...More

We were sharing dishes from the à la carte menu. Meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. Local products, fantastic view. The service was great so were the wine. A nice stroll back to the city.

On a very cold evening we dined in this lovely bistro style part of the restuarant . Relaxed dining - real comfort food with a modern and local twist and a nicely matched wine .

This 2 star Michelin Restaurant is just excellent in every aspect. The staff (all of them) greets you at arrival and takes care of you through the dinner. The dinner is a preset menu with more that 10 small/sometimes middle sized dishes but you certainly...More

The starters were interesting. We had fish and duck for our main course and both were pretty cold when served. It was likely a preference made by the chef, but none of us liked the meal prepared that cold. The coffee with the dessert was...More

The beautiful shipyard interior - relaxing atmosphere, scrumptious high quality foods, wonderful collection of drinks & above all excellent service 🥂. My 10 months old boy has also enjoyed the place. Highly recommended if you are in Stockholm 😊

We visited here for lunch after walking around the Skansen museum park. It is not the easiest to find but definitely worth taking the little walk to. We shared some fries and smoked prawns which were something we’ve never had before. They were cold which...More

Looks like Tripadvisor doesn't have a separate entry for this bistro as Oaxen Krog is the formal Michelin star sister restaurant. We landed in Stockholm on a Sunday, and all Michelin star restaurants are closed on Sundays in Stockholm. We booked this place in advance...More

It was a real experience to eat at Oaxen Krog. All the dishes of the 10 courses and the 5 amuses were really exceptional, apart from the main course. The lamb was a bit chewy although the taste was good. This is why we do...More

We ate dinner for the third time at Oaxen Slip and it was amazing. From their home made groggs to the seasonal swedish dishes. We had different kinds of kale as side dishes, very yummy! Atmosphere is mellow, cosy and waiters informative and attentive. Will...More

If you are planning to eat in bistro the dress code is casual. If you are planning to eat in the restaurant I would suggest a proper attire- shirt and pants and a dress 👗 for a lady.
