if you are looking for a nice meal just 10 minutes away from Fridhemsplan - go to Rianns Krog at Essinge Brogata. Table reservation is highly recommended. Only place for 22 persons. Many locals. Excellent wine list!!!!!! Bus #1 from City to Lilla Essingen and...only 50 meters from the bus stop.More

Avoid the crowds at the larger restaurants in Stockholm. This hidden gem offers excellent food in an environment where you can carry on a conversation and enjoy your company. An absolute must if you want a great meal in a friendly setting.

Great food and amazing staff A dozen tables do not seem to be a great Place. Knowledgeable staff who gave good guidance when choosing menu and wine.

A little out of the city centre and seating a maximum of 25 people, a reservation is probably best. The owners Anna and Richard have created a lovely small restaurant that does everything right... A warm welcome and interesting menu based primariy on classic Swedish...ingredients, with Richard's added skills provides an excellent dining experience. My personal favourite dishes... "Lerrpottasill" and "Fish & Mash" ...a nice twist on the old fish and chips combo...and for dessert the Chocolate Terrine and the Rosehip soup really are very very good!More

A friend who lives on the island of Lilla Essingen took my husband and me to this cute, romantic little restaurant on the main street in town, on the same side of the street as the bus stop (no subway runs to Lilla Essingen). It...has less than 10 tables, which makes it feel intimate. We were the first guests of the evening and the chef came out and spoke with us. Each of us ordered something different and all of it was absolutely delicious! I ordered the slow-cooked beef (like pot roast done in a crock pot) and it was wonderful! I highly recommend this little restaurant off the main tourist path for those interested in Swedish/Scandinavian food.More
