Food ok BUT the service was appalling. Rude staff and no interest whatsoever in the customer. The way we were treated, no way we will be coming back.

For a reasonable price you can get the Seafood plattern, and it is actually really good: from perfectly cooked clams, freash crab, lobster, smoked and freash shrimps to deep water crawfish and oysters. I also recomend a glas of champagne in there cheap retro glasses. However, be prepared to wait for your table, wait for waterglases to be refilled, wait... More

Tried this place twice. Food: brilliant. Both dinner and a brunch offered a nice menu to choose from and really good tasty food. But.. service.. slow, one seems to be forgotten even if the restaurant is not filled. Train the staff to have better oversight of customers waving and Bistro Bon will be really good.

Bistro Bon is one of my favourite restaurants in the “cool area” in Stockholm (Södermalm). A place where you eat great French food made from classical receipts influenced from Mediterranean & NY, all cooked with fresh products & with a huge touch of love… A nicely decorated & very cosy place with soft lightening for all type of dinners! We’ve... More

Staying in SoFo & Medborgarplatsen

Neighborhood Profile
SoFo & Medborgarplatsen
Throughout the last decades these neighborhoods transformed from a rather quiet residential area into the birthplace of Swedish hipsterism and became Sweden’s main hub for new fashion labels, independent coffee shops and innovative gastropub concepts. Despite their extreme transformation, SoFo (South of Folkungagatan) & Medborgarplatsen managed to hold on to their residential charm and quietness and became one of the most sought-after places to live among young people in Stockholm. This neighborhood is also home to Sweden’s highest student hall, Skrapan, which used to be the head office of the tax authorities and now combines a mix of student hall and shopping mall with a bar on top.
