Reluctantly ate here after a set of circumstances meant we arrived later than anticipated to go out for dinner. With 2 kids under twelve patience was limited and after 3rd place of choice was full we just gave up and came here bad decision. i had the prankster amd hubby had steak frites. Son had pizza (wise choice) Daughter had... More

I sat outside when the weather was perfect. I ordered tea and desert. The tea was good but the desert I chose was too sweet. Nevertheless the atmosphere outdoors is so nice that you would forget about your food. Service was good.

We were a party of 9 when arriving here. The place was crowded but the guy in the entrance very nice guy Alessandro gave us a table inside. The food was very good, the service very fast. I can tell you they just were too friendly. The waiter recommended us a platter of exotic meats, deer, veal and some other... More

Had a delicious meal gazing at the statue of Evert Taube on a square on Gamla Stan. I had the cold salmon plate, my husband had the salmon and pasta, which turned out to be linguini. Both were excellent. Reasonably priced considering the high quality of the food and the charming locale.

A couple of cups of coffee and two very small cakes was not worth the cost or time very much geared to a quick buck from the tourists

This is a place you abselutely must avoid. The food is not good, we tried different courses, but they didnt deliver at all. Staff is not professional at all. This is an overprized tourist-trap.

We really liked the restaurant. Really good service, good food, friendly staff. All the staff members were more than ready to help out. Best restaurant in Gamla Stan. Thank you so much. Greetings from Iceland. P.s Remember 2-1 for Iceland :)

The "barker" outside the restaurant convinced us to eat here. That was a mistake. The food was mediocre and overpriced. Worse than that, we were encouraged to take a "free" pastry that was outside the restaurant and which the barker had distributed to passerbys to encourage them to eat there. After we paid the bill, which came out to about... More

I wish I read more restaurant reviews before I went to Stockholm. This place is definitely overpriced - 45 SEK for a glass of what looked and tasted like tap water. For 2 mains the total was around 450 SEK I believe, and I do not want to accuse anyone of microwaving their food but the facts are it arrived... More

They took 45 sek for a glass of water to lunch menu. The food was ok. Nothing i would recommend to the guest of Stockholm. Try something else

Staying in Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen

Neighborhood Profile
Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting: take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest) alleys, which will make you feel like you’ve travelled back in time. This neighborhood offers a great combination of historical buildings and traditional Swedish restaurants.
