Outdated hotel with a poorly designed restaurant for the hotel breakfast - gets crowded - purpose with ill fitted sofa & table combos. TV system is also outdated compared to other Scandic hotels in Stockholm.

Very central location so this is a good choice if you plan to see the city and don't care about spending too much time in the hotel. Breakfast was good.

Great location...t-bana is 5 mins central railway station less than 10. Restraunt and service is fine. Rooms are clean but in line with other reviewers...yes they need a refresh but dont let it put you off ( they are tired not dirty) Only minor grumbles...no bottled water in the rooms and slow / non-working lifts.

Very pleasant and enjoyable. Clean and well serviced. Many tasty choices on breakfast buffet. Ideal location to walk to all of Stockholm's attractions and shopping. Would certainly stay again.

I stayed at this hotel during July 2015. It has nice clean rooms and I had a great view of the city landscape. The hotel has a great location, you can access the Old Town and it is very convenient to the train station. This was very useful as I was visiting a friend in Karlstadt also. The hotel has... More

We recently stayed at this hotel. The hotel has nice clean rooms and are rather roomy for Europe. The hotel is centrally located and easy to get around to Old Town, etc. The hotel has an excellent breakfast - wide variety and quite good. The staff is very friendly. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Typical Scandic breakfasts on offer - really good mix of continental items - only issue is it's always so busy.

It is pretty old hotel but it does not mean that the hotel is in bad condition. If you like classic, here must be your choise. The rooms are very large as the hotel is one of the biggest hotel in town. By the way, the hotel has pretty proffesionel and frindly crew.

Neighborhood Profile
Norrmalm
Norrmalm is Stockholm’s most central and busiest neighborhood. It’s home to the main shopping street, Drottninggatan, and to Stockholm icons like the Sergels Torg glass obelisk, the famous Hay Market with its Carl Milles sculptures, and the Hötorget Skyscrapers, a sight on every other Stockholm postcard. Norrmalm is also home to Sweden’s most traditional department stores Nordiska Kompaniet and Åhléns City juxtaposed with Stockholm’s most modern shopping mall, Mood Stockholm.
