Since moving to Stockholm this is one of my favourite places here. The food is amazing. The princess cake is a must try along with the chocolate ball covered in coconut. They also make great coffee and a really good sandwich. They also make fresh bread what is amazing. If you are looking to go I would recommend staying away... More

Absolutely worth a visit! Tasty treats and good coffee, a classic Swedish fika. In summer they have a lovely backyard.

I found Vete-Katten bakery through TA and since it was right near our hotel we figured we had to try it out. My family is Swedish and my father can still remember traditional Swedish baked goods made by his grandmother. He said this is the closest he has ever had. We went back 3 more times on the trip! You... More

Me and my partner came here for lunch. The pretty building of the outside stood out. Friendly staff, I wasn't sure what was in the pastries as the description wasn't in English so he told me. The water was refillable to help yourself. Very light in there.

Compared to many other cities I've been to, Stockholm is not really a place where you will find lots of good cafés. One that is authentic and a must if you love to go on a "fika" as the Swedes say, is Vete-Katten. The name comes from the history of the place, when the founder was about to open it... More

This place is always busy and crowded but there is a reason for it - sweets which you can buy there are amazing! Really high quality! Although it might be not the cheapest cafe in the town it is definitely recommended to go there! I enjoyed delicious semla in Jan (although season for semla starts in Feb 😜) and a... More

We arrived for breakfast. Charming and authentic place. Full of people sitting, drinking coffee and eating a sandwich or cake. Very large selection of pastries and sweets.

We venture to this cake shop on recommendation & it didn't disappoint, its a very busy cafe & we were lucky to find a seat. The cake was lovely as it always is in Sweden a little pricey but there was free coffee so it balanced out.. would recommend if you are in the city..

We went to buy some of their sweets to go and they were very busy. We waited in one of the lines and then they send us to another one because they didn't have any to go boxes. We moved to another line and in the end it turned out we don't need to wait in a line because we... More
