Were there for diner, really nice experience. Waitress was very kind to us and we spent a good time. Authentic, cheap and good products

Great and nice restaurant in the historical city center (Gamla Stan)! Many typical swedish food choices, we shared the herring and the salmon, they were both tasty and well dressed with sides.

If you want to try cod, salmon and elk combined with roasted potatoes and lingonberry sauce, you are in the right place! Very tasty dishes, fresh ingredients, big portions, and deep kindness of the staff. My parents and I loved the food and the wine...too. I warmly recommend having dinner here if you are in Stockholm!More

We happened upon Slingerbulten after we had tried to go to Brinken just down the street & it was closed (we are assuming due to summer). Like a lot of places in Gamla Stan, it offers traditional Swedish classics but here there is an emphasis...on seafood. The main dishes (we had Skagen, Cod & Fish Soup) are great value for money & well made seafood however the bread & dessert (crème brulee is the only choice) are very disappointing. You are served in a relaxed pub setting with a green & white colour scheme. It was almost completely empty when we went which was useful given we dropped in last minute but of course meant a quieter atmosphere. Overall a decent option for tourists looking for something traditional that's not too expensive, especially if you like fishMore

Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home
to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central
island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small
island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous
Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit
touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting:
take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and
through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest)
