We had five and three dishes. All was delicious. Would say this place is more for food lovers not picky eaters! All meals come with recommended wine which was delicious. We visited on a Friday but Booked a couple of hours beforehand via bookatable. Would say you should book advance.

Had lunch here with a colleague. Nice interior, service was good. I had the char and a colleague had the burger. Neither were great, but neither were bad. I felt that my portion was a too small, but the burger on the other hand was too big. Wouldn't rush back.

My sweet spouse likes to cater to my vegetarian diet. I like to cater to his love of seafood. He won this night and it was just not my kind of place. Tapas based on taste. There were several vegetarian option as well as meat options. The dishes were just modern and not my taste. The host was also a... More

Fine dining the Swedish way: great atmosphere and friendly staff. The concept is simple: you select 3, 5 or 7 dishes (from a list of about 20), all named after a flavour or spice. Special recommendation for ginger, truffle, hazelnut and tarragon. There is an option to pair each dish with a matching wine which we did not select. The... More

I don't think the venue considered itself to be cheap and although I liked the idea of the 'tapas' size dishes one could choose from, the quality between the dishes varied dramatically. I would not call it experimental cuisine but it was funky enough to border on pretentious. Five of us went and we ate the entire menu except two... More

If you are “foodie” and would like to try a whole new experience to Swedish cuisine, this is a place you can’t miss. Tasting menu includes dishes you certainly would not get anywhere else such as: Swedish wild boar, carrot & rapseed oil or cod, brussels sprouts and apple, or sirloin, bleak roe (a caviar tyoe) and cress. In any... More

The food was sublime, the wine pairings spot on. One small minus - the staff was amazing but there was nowhere near enough of them.

Was here for a business lunch with a large group of about 15 people. The service was prompt and organized. We had a few dishes to choose from, and everybody enjoyed their food. They even had yummy cookies and coffee that were included. Heard the dinner here is great, although a bit pricey.

In my opinion, to say that Smak serves "tapas"-like food is both missing the point, and failing to do justice to the intelligence of the restaurant's concept. Smak offers a tasting menu where you select each course yourself on the basis of each dish's defining taste and a subsequent list of ingredients. It's clever and unique, and yielded some of... More

We arrived at Smak and were immediately greeted warmly by the hostess. We chose 5 courses initially - the menu was extensive and complex but really exciting and delicious. There was a blip with our meal but the customer service of the waitress and the front of house hostess was second to none. They rectified the small error immediately, apologised... More

Description
Smak på Restaurangen is located in Stockholm city centre, just a stone's throw from Hötorget. The concept is all about flavours, where you are given three choices - three, five or seven small dishes in which the influential flavor gives its name to the dish. You simply make your order by circling your choice on the menu. The same goes for wines and other beverages, which are also available in smaller tasting glasses, all to give you the possibility to try as many flavours as you wish. Smak på Restaurangen is part of the famous Group F12.
