Me and my girlfriend decided to go out for a spontaneus dinner, so we put on some nice dress and headed to this restaurant that an acquaintance suggested me. At the restaurant we asked the headwaiter for a sit, but then he just looked at me and then said that their booking system have been down for weeks so he... More

Taken here by Swedish business colleagues who had booked well in advance. As other reviewers have said it's essentially a tasting style menu but, unlike others I've sampled, this one does actually feel like a proper meal. Each dish has a signature flavour around which it's created. Don't be put off a dish by the list of ingredients. If in... More

Delicious small food portions (1, 3, 5 or 7) with the right wines. The atmosphere was warm and the personnel was professional and really nice. Worth of money. A glass of prosecco, 5 food portions with wines and coffee with Strega liquer about 1000 SEK.

We went for lunch and the price of the lunch (main course of meat or fish) with small side salad and bread and coffee (which you helped yourself to) was very reasonable At 140 SEK. We added another 2 course that comprises of Tuna with Yuzu and walnut crumble with mascarpone for another 160 SEK. The seared Tuna was pretty... More

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and decor. However the tables for two people are way, way too close to each other (I literally could not walk between them, and I am not a big person). The concept of the restaurant is what made me book a table there. Unfortunately the food did not deliver. Dont get me wrong, it... More

The concept of the restaurant is basically interesting, focus on one main ingredient (flavour) per dish, but the execution is more often than not disappointing. Some dishes are literally drowned in sauce which gives a very unpleasant sensation in the mouth. Also wines, especially the reds, do not always pair well. Deserts are the positive exception to the above.

If you want a dinner with lots of different flavours and experiences, this is it. The courses are small and divided into flavours. Five courses are like a three course meal. You can pair every course with selected beverages. Everything is delicious. I love this place.

This is a fun and interesting dinner experience! You can opt for 3, 5 or 7 courses all based around the central flavour. Everything we had was delicious - focus on the flavour when selecting rather than the description as you'd be surprised at the things you'll enjoy that you wouldn't necessarily pick based on ingredients alone. The dishes are... More

Smak was recommended by our hotel and did not disappoint. Each person is provided with a menu board with about 25 different flavours, each paired with a recommended wine. How many courses do you want, 1, 3, 5 or 7? Which wine pairings? Or do you want to choose your own pairing? Seven courses seemed about right and we had... More

Smak på Restaurangen is located in Stockholm city centre, just a stone's throw from Hötorget. The concept is all about flavours, where you are given three choices - three, five or seven small dishes in which the influential flavor gives its name to the dish. You simply make your order by circling your choice on the menu. The same goes for wines and other beverages, which are also available in smaller tasting glasses, all to give you the possibility to try as many flavours as you wish. Smak på Restaurangen is part of the famous Group F12.
