Terrible service, took very long time for us to get the food and zero communication. We will not go to this place again

Normally I prefer Japanese to be traditional, because the traditions are so great, but Hai successfully added their own twist to my couple weekend lunch and we enjoyed it. The service takes time due to the success of the place, but it is worth the...wait and we will be back.More
Nice place with fresh sushi and poke bowls. The salmon was very fresh and juicy, the fried chicken very crispy. Prices very reasonable too. If you want an easy lunch or crave a nice poke bowl this could be worth a try! Place was easy...to find next to a big open parking space in the living quarters just off the main shopping street. Relaxed environment for a lunch or dinner. Friendly helpful staff :)More
Me and my boyfriend went out for dinner for Valantine's days. We left the place still hungry. This because of the lack of service. We were kept waiting al lot, specially inbetween receiving us, taking us to the table, ordering the dinner (sushi) and wanting...to order another round of Sushi and then dessert, which we never came around to because the kitchen was closing at 22.00. Also the service staff had close to zero knowledge about gluten free diet. I did get the gluten free soya, but I believe I was living on the edge with the rest of the sushi plate. However the Sushi was yummie and tasty, but will probably will not come back again soon.More
First time I went services was extremely slow and we were ignored for new customers. It is also expensive for what it is. Second time we ordered and they didn’t deliver one of the meals. After 30 minutes on the phone they refused to refund...the order, not going to eat whilst my partner doesn’t. She was extremely rude and said she doesn’t have time for this but if we drove to the restaurant we could have a salad. Won’t try a third.More
Fresh sushi and salad. They have some exciting dishes and good regular sushi. They have good seating both inside and outside, but no sunset.
The logo made us decide to have lunch here. There were a few vegetarian options and we took a soba-dish and some sushi to share. Nice flavors, good balance between sweet and sour!
We were there on a Monday evening a were a bit pressed for time and staff was swift and helpful. The menue is solidly Japanese with all you can wish for Udons, Sushi, Sashimi, Makis, several types of Japanese beers etc. My chicken with mayonnaise...and pickled onions and rice was far from Japan though, too deepfried, not tender, rice not so well boiled, simply not very good. The sushi that the ladies had was seemingly ok. The green tea was also far away from how it is served in the land of the rising sun. The location is very nice, overlooking a large green square in front of the former police hq. Prices are quite ok. Many plus factors but food quality is lacking.More
Just went there for lunch, we had the large sushi plate (110 Kronor). The fish (tuna and salmon) looked like it had been sliced days ago and was very dry. It did not taste bad, although it was not bursting with fresh flavours either. The...associated roles were ok, very simple though.More
Amazing what Can I say , very friendly staff quick preparation time and huge portions. Special mention to the lady with blond hair very friendly and had a nice conversation . I tend to eat out alone as I food blog and was greeted and...felt comfortable.More
This is a very fresh and pleasant restaurant at a super nice square in the center of Malmö. The nicest, perhaps. Swift but a little scatterbrained staff (we asked for a spoon for the soup but it never came). We had sushi with salad and...miso and it was all extremely fresh - the salad was a little too cold, but not the sushi, which had perfect temperature. We will come again!More
not good service and high price, food was ok interior was nice but not a place you want to go there again
Decent quality and taste. Quite a long list of selections. Clean and soft atmosphere with nice and professional service.
The food here is ok and the service is ok. You usually get what you expect, if you have been here before. It's not bad, but not exiting either. The best thing about Hai is the flavours of the non-fish rolls. The shitake maki is...really good with clean flavours - it is what makes me come back.More
I went there because it was close to the hotel. I ate a yakisoba with chicken, and in 5 minutes it was ready. I'm pretty sure it was microwaved. It'a kinda sad because the waitress was really nice and helpful!
