We were 3 freinds having lunch yesterday at the restaurant and we were all very positively surprised about the high quality of the Danish Openface Sandwiches we were served. A great experience served by professional staff.

We have never visited Sans Souci Restaurant before, so when we so a deal for "smørrebrød" we went for it right away. We had 2 pieces of "smørrebrød" each and it was really nice. The service was perfect. We will be back for dinner sometime!

We had dinner there, and had a good evening. Place is quiet, local and service is good and attentive. Food is decent ie well above average - Can recommend it for a nice quiet evening out.

The restaurant interior is old fashioned, given a nive relaxed atmosphere. The waiters were very nice, but were much too busy - only two waiters for the whole restaurant. The food was fine, and the wine card also fine - and all at a fair...price.More

For the Christmas specials, this place is perfect. The different traditional dishes were presented in exciting and updated variations. The taste reflected the high quality of the kitchen, and the preparations put into each course. On top, the service was relaxed and yet very attentive....Will definitely go again.More

I have been to Sans Souci many times as I like the ambiance which is very French bistrot, the service which is impeccable, the food very good and they have an excellent wine card with good prices. The restaurant has been closed over the summer...for some renovation so I was curious to go again. We were two couples. We took our favorite snack which is Ortiz tuna in a can and absolutely great and one portion enough for two. Then we took each two dishes which can be chosen in small or large size. That is new there. We took small size. All dishes were very well prepared, very tasty and in good size. We had an excellent Sancerre by the glass and an excellent Cote du Rhône by the glass, plus plenty of sparkling water. All together 900kr per couple which is excellent value for money and way better than most restaurants in Copenhagen where typically you have for 1500-2000. Our friends from Iceland had an excellent evening and I can highly recommend Sans Souci and we will for sure come back!More

My boyfriend and I came here for lunch and it was great. The waiter was super friendly and the food was awesome! We had two different fish Smørrebrød (one with pan-fried plaice fillet and shrimps and one with herring) and the steak tartare, which came...with excellent fries! Really great food, we will be back!More

This is the second time I try this very nice French brasserie and my experience has been very good again. Service is impeccable and the ambiance/decor is great, very french and cozy. I tried twice the tuna in can as a starter and I can...recommend it! Best tuna in can I have ever tried! I had a turbo, and the two other persons had the veal and the sole fish. All dishes were quite big and very tasty. Desert, strawberries with strawberry sorbet was excellent. We had a sancerre and a pinot noir both very good and priced reasonably. They have very good french wines from around 400-1000kr or more. So all in all an excellent experience which I can highly recommend. A little gem outside of the center!More

This trendy-ish restaurant was previously a traditional Danish tavern (vaertshus), popular with some of the famous Copenhagen poets in the 70's and 80's. Nowadays it's serves fine food and good wine. The price for the individual sandwiches are a bit to steep for my liking....The same goes for the wine. As I'm a bit of a chocolate connoisseur, I was looking forward to tasting their special chocolate mousse. It wasn't exactly cheap and it was the weirdest tasting chocolate mousse I have ever tried, because they had mixed some strange berries in the mousse, that did not blended well with it! I believe this was the first time in my life, that I did not finish a chocolate mousse ... The service at Sans Souci is impeccable.More
