I found this place through Tripadvisor and it was as excellent as the reviews are. The ingredients were extremely good quality and the serving was so big I almost couldn’t finish it. I also liked the fact that the place wasn’t very neat yet still...cozy enough to eat in. I didn’t feel awkward at all to went there alone and the staff was very friendly.More

Having trouble figuring out why this place has a top rating. Me and my friend placed our order when the shop was relatively quiet, but had to wait 45 MINUTES for our sandwiches. Their extreme slowness is unlike any sandwich shop I have ever been...too; you expect efficiency and speed. It made the taste of the sandwiches less enjoyable as this overrated shop wasted an hour of my day.More
Seeing the glowing reviews, I was really looking forward to this. Maybe my first mistake was not eating on a totally empty stomach. My eating schedule was off, and I felt I needed something to eat before going to sleep. The sandwiches are quite large....I got the #1 (the "recommendation") even though I don't often get ham sandwiches. While it was good, I was personally underwhelmed. Could be for any of the reasons mentioned above, and I wish I had another chance to get something. Is it because I'm a pretentious American that lives in the land of delis that I just turn my nose up at sandwiches everywhere now? But also, I get that sandwiches in Cph mean something different than sandwiches of the States. Go for it, for a filling meal... but don't expect to be blown away.More
As all the reviews say, absolutely delicious and varied sandwiches. A great value in Copenhagen because my husband and I split a sandwich and left happy. My husband was so impressed he told the staff that if they ever wanted to open shop in the...US he would help bank roll them. Found this sandwich shop on the second day of our short trip and returned the next day. Friendly staff, menus in different languages inc. English. Absolutely great value for money, the sandwich are prepared fresh with a variety of fillings and then toasted. Meats and...cheeses from Europe, this sandwich would probably do two people if you plan on eating later. We only had a light bite for tea much later in the evening as we were still full. Anticipate a slight wait of 20mins if visiting at lunch hour as it can be busy. Highly recommended.More
Our 1st night in Copenhagen and we found this sandwich shop, we ordered 3 sandwiches to take away, absolutely wonderful, I myself had roast pork, sandwich was so big it took me 2 days to eat it. Wonderful service, great place

The sandwiches here are a) huge b) amazing c) with the freshest ingredients. What more can you ask for? The place is tiny, with maybe ten places inside, and that may very well be the only issue I have with this place - we seriously...risked not to be seated, and we definitely would have missed something. Prices are absolutely acceptable and the staff is nice and friendly - they also offer to provide a doggy bag in case the sandwiches were too big, but in the end we managed ;-)More
Absolutely delicious sandwiches- and you certainly get what you pay for. The sandwiches are very large, and staff were happy to wrap the remaining half of mine and my partners to go which we finished for dinner. Very very tasty! Great Sandwiches! There are options with meat and veggie. Sandwiches are really big and we had to ask to pack them for later. :)
Visited today and was not disappointed - we got a sandwich each to share and loved them both. Great fillings and very fresh - also couldn't finish t so looking forward to a wee snack later tonight.
