We had a 3 course menu which was great, tried more types of meat and grill. The service was quite good as well and the Malbec wine very good value! The place also looks neat and stylish. You'll have good times here! I would recommend the "Churrasco" grilled steak as main.

Nice waiters. 1st course was good. The meat was good, but the potatoes was bland. The desert was great. The location felt run down.

The restaurant is romantically situated in the Christianshavn area of Copenhagen, with a view to the canal. We were greeted by busy, english speaking waiters, who asked us to wait just two minutes, to be seated. We were quickly served a glass of cava, as part of the deal we had booked. The food is simple and authentic Argentinian style,... More

This Argentinian Steakhouse offers also Fish and Lamb, but I thought if I am in a Steakhouse I have to go for the Meat. And I was not disappointed, right the opposite. Excellent starter: Empanadas , and then the Parilla Menu Beef tenderloin, Rib.eye, home made Chorizo and side dishes. Cooked to perfection. We had a reunion dinner and all... More

I visited this restaurant for a celebration with my girlfriend. We skipped appetizers and went straight for the main course, tenderloin and rib eye. My rib eye turned out to be cooked well done despite being ordered medium rare, but the waiter apologized and very quickly returned with a new, much larger steak, which was cooked perfectly. The steaks were... More

It was my first visit at Asador. I was with a friend from Argentina so was exicited about how authentic the kitchen was. After the dinner my friend said it was like having dinner at his grandmother. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. And big great steaks.

We wanted steak and were pleased to find this restaurant on our doorstep. Although they were fully booked, they made room for us at the time we requested. Our waiter was friendly and helpful (advising us that we had ordered too much). We had steak, cooked to perfection, as well as excellent side dishes. As with many other restaurants in... More

My father was in town for one night and we wanted to spend it wisely. I had been recommended this restaurant by a friend as we both wanted something above average to celebrate the occasion. The location is fantastic as well as the interior, which also adds to the theme or style, if that is appropriate, of this place. Once... More

Staying in Christianshavn

Neighborhood Profile
Just across one of the many bridges from Indre By, you’ll find Christianshavn. An eclectic area with old brick lanes, houses dating back to the 16th century, and canals which are home to many boats and ships, some of which has been turned into restaurants or even serve as fully furnished homes. The best known attraction in Chistianshavn is Christiania, a “free town” of residents who squat on a former military area. However just a stone’s throw away from Christiania, you’ll find some of the most fashionable waterfront apartment buildings in Copenhagen as well as the splendid Royal Opera House.
