Kokkeriet is a place with contrasts. It is a small restaurant with big ambitions. Familiar taste in an unfamiliar context. High-flying passion with a hint of grounded reality. It's a gastronomic choice in a different rendition of classic as well as new Danish dishes. Kokkeriet is all four seasons. It's sprouting and succulent dishes in spring, light and elegant dishes in summer, longing and melancholic tastes in fall, and comfortable, warming dishes in winter. It is love, understanding and respect for Danish gastronomy. With a twinkle in the eye, curiosity, obstinacy and a genuine intention to serve sublime Danish food reconstructed in the best possible way. Something we by the way are very

Such a joke. Owner offering free dinners for better reviews.
I was here recently and it was just such a joke. From waiters unable to speak both English and danish to very mediocre food.

Thank you so much for the lovely visit and the amazing review. We are so happy to read that you enjoyed your dining experience here at Kokkeriet. Thank you so much for all the kind words about our food, service and staff.
We had a dinner at Kokkeriet in March 2019. A lot of small, tasteful dishes between 19.30 and 23.45 ... the food kept on coming. Almost at much in the end. We had many servants to present the food - too many. To me 1...More

This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding
neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
