A celebration lunch was enjoyed greatly, 4 people all choosing different food ranging from Foie gras, great steak and danish open sandwiches with a huge list of options. Service was very friendly and efficient, when the second bottle of wine proved to be corked, the waitress handled the situation excellently and professionally. Food execution was simple but well done, cooking... More

I don't even know where to start on this restaurant except to say it was perfect. The servers were wonderful and spoke perfect English, they sat us near a cozy fireplace, and the food was wonderful. We opted for a bunch of open-faced smoresbord style sandwiches. We had herring, salmon, roast beef, pork with crackling and they were all of... More

great food served efficiently. The duck fois gras is excellent, as are the mussels. A wonderful selection of good quality cheeses are brought to the table on a trolley. The building is large and full of old cellars with arched ceilings, nooks and crannies. A roaring fire greeted us on entry which really set the scene for a pleasent, comfortable... More

We went to give a try to real Danish smørrebrød and we hadn't been disappointed!! Indeed, what a fantastic variety of tasty and delicious little sandwiches...not to mention the place, relaxed and informal, and above all the waitresses, very nice and friendly, besides very attentive and efficient. And all this for a very reasonable price, what we paid was worth... More

Service was very efficient here and the quality of food pretty good but the portions were very meagre for the price. It would cost the restaurant very little to give a decent quantity of ryebread with the 'smørrebrod' It was the thinnest, smallest pieces of ryebread we've ever seen as part of a smørrebrod menu.. As it was, we left... More

Bartender at Marriott recommended as a locals favorite. Location was GREAT. We sat outside on a cool evening and it was very comfortable. Service was excellent. The salad served with 'steak and salad' was very fresh and tasty! Bread was awesome. Great wine list.

This restaurant is located in a beautiful square. We chose this place as it appeared to be the busiest and chock full of locals. The wait staff was friendly and very helpful. The food was very good. We chose the 3 sandwich option and washed it down with refreshing beer (Carlsberg, of course)! This is a great spot to relax... More

Went there on the recommendation of a danish friend and was very pleased. We chose the 3 plate lunch menu which was great. We went back again the next day after we could not find another danish restaurant for a reasonable price. We were very happy and would recommend anyone looking for a good Danish meal to visit and not... More

In the heart of Copenhagen, this is one of several restaurants situated but in this pleasant and attractive square. There is indoor seating, but we chose to sit outside for an evening meal. In common with many Copenhagen restaurants the outdoor seating is covered and has some form of heating. They even have blankets to keep you a bit warmer... More

Small restaurant on a very busy square. Chose 3 smorrebrod sandwiches and ordered 2 beer. All delicious. Service was warm and friendly and the whole vibe was great. Steaks and moules delivered to the tables close to us made us want to come back for dinner.
