this restaurant looked better on the inside then the outside might have suggested so we are glad we put our head in the door. we had lunch and most of us chose salads - big dishes but more down to a large portion of leaf...than a wide variety of other components. Service was generally good although for one friend they got her order wrong twice so that was a nuisance - she had to wait 5-10 mins after ours arrived to get here., the manager was apologetic and the dish was good once it arrived. wine relatively expensive starting prices vs other venues in the city but it was a reasonable qualityMore

We stopped here for lunch, the tables are made out of large pieces of wood, very Fred Flintstone like ! We had a range of salads from cheese, pawn and tuna, all very lovely with lots of salad leaves. Wine was quite expensive even for...Copenhagen so we had the House red. Tap water was provided.More

I went there for dinner on a Monday night, and was almost the only customer. I took the three course menu deal, and it was very good. The price was reasonable for Copenhagen and that level of quality. Service was very friendly.

Kind staff, great location & extremely reasonably priced. This cozy little Cafe is a must visit if you're ever in town! The great beer on tap was also a bonus.

We were staying nearby and popped in here for dinner on the recommendation of our concierge. It was a rainy weeknight, so we had no difficulty getting a table, as there were only 2 other couples dining. They provided menus in English, which was considerate,...and overall the service was friendly and attentive. We started with the cheese and sausage from Bornholm, I had the fish of the day (divinely fresh salmon) and my husband had the chicken breast. The salmon dish was excellent, not a complaint to be had, but the chicken breast sauce was too salty. One of my favorite features of the restaurant was the decor; it was beautiful to look at, and in a city of minimalist wooden table chairs, it was incredibly enjoyable to sit in their plush side chair while eating. Overall, we would come back for a meal if we were in town.More

Staying at a nearby hotel and coming in to Copenhagen much later than expected, we did not have any formal plans for diner. After walking around the area a few times, we settled on Café Klimt which looked casual enough and with prices that looked...reasonable by Danish standards What I liked: As the menu was brand new (and not yet translated to English) the waitress walked us through the menu and took the time to clearly explained every dish. For the most part, the menu is composed of comfort food - with a Scandinavian twist. The kitchen is semi open concept and featured only one cook but service was still relatively quick on this fairly busy night. Food portions were adequate and food tasted great. I had a nice chicken dish whereas others in our party settled on burgers (vegetarian and traditional cheeseburger for the kid). Deserts were nice and freshly made. Overall, service was very friendly What to watch for: Due to some language barriers, we had a little bit of an allergy scare as one desert was made from almond flour. I noticed it before taking a bite and after triple checking presence of the allergen was confirmed. Another desert was offered - no damage done. All in, this is a nice place that won't break the bank (as much) as other casual cafes in CopenhagenMore

Found Cafe Klimt in our guidebook & wasn’t expecting anything more than meals we’ve had so far in Denmark. The menu is small but that made it easy to choose and we were just blown away by the presentation — it was beautifully served. Then...we tasted our dinners, magnificent! Will go back before we leave Copenhagen. And although every meal has been expensive, our dinner was cheaper than lunch we had earlier in the day. Server was friendly and professional. I had cod and my husband had chicken.More

Quite liked it - went into for a quick light meal before the Beyonce Concert - had the cheeses and real quality wines. Yep - a thumbs up and got the impression that most that went there were known regulars.
