Try the ice cream with the famous chocolate bar which is no to be named. The more scoops you order the cheaper it gets.

It's out of the way in a suburban neighbourhood in Amager but the line to get ice cream, even on a cold, rainy evening, lets one know: this is well worth a journey. Everything made fresh, a great selection with seasonal specials. Either Danish style in an edible cone or in a cup. Choose a variety of toppings from traditional... More

Absolutely fantastic place for ice cream and worth the drive. There is both indoor and outdoor sitting. If you are buying for kids - remember to assess the size- as the ice creams are rather big

Fresh, delicate and a lot of flavors. Try "amager-isen" or one of the berry icecreams. Put some "guf" at the top. It's very delicius.

Old retro style shop. Great selection of ice. Also possible to order different selections "to go" (for usage at home).

One of the best ice-cream spots in Copenhagen !! The place is nicely decorated and there are tables and chairs outside.

Homemade, excellent taste and Quality. Be prepared for waiting In Line, but the staff are quite fast, and the ice is worth waiting for.

Best icecream ever and friendly staff! And the price is reasonable too 😋. I recommend the white chocolate icecream with lemon and licorize.

Thank CharlotteLund

Staying in Amager

Neighborhood Profile
In the eastern part of this neighbourhood, visitors will discover Amager Strandpark, a beach area which has become increasingly popular. It’s only a 30 minute bicycle ride or a 10 minute Metro trip away from the city center. Only a few hundred yards inland, some of the most creative musicians, artists, and writers in Copenhagen are occupying some of the old storage houses and production facilities. The western part is one of Copenhagen's most rapidly evolving areas, here you’ll find international architecture of the highest rank, the state of the art TV-Byen (the Danish pendant to BBC), a golf course as well as Copenhagen's best (and tiniest) ice bar.
