The staff here were exceptional. Very welcoming, warm and with a real sense of humour. The food quality was amazing. The venue itself is small and full of atmosphere. Really was of my favourite restaurants ever!

I went in Puk restaurant after a Copenaghen trip with friends. Our experience : We booked via phone and the owner picked up : he was kind , lovely and English speaker. Arrived in time we tried to step in to the restaurant but have been stopped in a cold way by a woman waitress telling us to close the... More

On our first evening in Copenhagen we were very jet-lagged and wanted to eat near our hotel. The receptionist recommended this one. We enjoyed it. The food and service were both good, and it was a nice atmosphere. Prices were average for Copenhagen.

We were looking for a "real" Danish meal and we were not disappointed one bit. Go hungry, enjoy the friendly staff and maybe you go on an evening when you really need a hearty meal to recover from the cold.

Wow - this place was a great find. I was searching reviews all day - looking for a nice, traditional place for dinner - and we were not disappointed. The danish ice-cream dessert was about the best treat I've ever enjoyed.

We ordered the menu (minimum 2 people) as Danish cuisine. One starter based on fish with herrings and fried fish, main plate with meat (pork liver and roasted pork) and brie cheese. Service was perfect with the friendly redhead waitress. I highly recommend it. Not so pricy for Copenhagen

Good food and service. Reasonable prices. The starter was something local and different for us. It was also suggested to be shared what was nice. The place is quite small and popular so booking a table seems to be a must.

Cosy and authentic place with friendly staff. The food is all homemade and the staff is thoughtful and fun. I wanted to experience my first traditional danish meal and it was a the perfect choice to do so. We had the PUK menu and a dessert. We could experience different tastes and with great quality price. Will definitely come back... More

Decided on a whim to try this place on a Sunday night, and I'm so glad I did! It helped that I was there solo because all the booths were reserved. I'm a huge fan of old stuff, so the fact that the building was from the 1700s (?) was super appealing to me. While waiting for my order I... More

I almost hate to write this review because this restaurant was one of those finds that I would like to keep for myself! This is a great little restaurant and bar that sits half below ground with patio seating for nice weather. We happened by on a chilly evening and were about to leave because all the tables were full... More

Restaurant PUK is a classic and historic Danish restaurant in the very heart of Copenhagen. It is one of the oldest restaurants in Copenhagen with a history dating back to 1750. Here came the Danish King Christian VII along with his mistress in the late 19th century when they were in town together. You can enjoy all the traditional Danish courses crafted with a blend of respect for tradition and a pride in the art of cooking and the best products from Danish farmers.
