Location and contact

Restaurant PUK is a classic and historic Danish restaurant in the very heart of Copenhagen. It is one of the oldest restaurants in Copenhagen with a history dating back to 1750. Here came the Danish King Christian VII along with his mistress in the late 19th century when they were in town together. You can enjoy all the traditional Danish courses crafted with a blend of respect for tradition and a pride in the art of cooking and the best products from Danish farmers.

Looking at the restaurant from the outside you would think is not as good as it really is. Also the menu sound a bit old-fashioned... but when you get your food there is nothing to complain. Very good.

Typical, if a bit touristy, Copenhagen diner. Good quality food, fairly predictable, lovely service, great atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Puk is always a pleasure to visit. In the summertime, it may be a bit touristic, but outside the season, I love to visit this place. Good food, friendly staff all you need for a great dinner.
