Without a doubt one of the best dining experiences of my life. From the first "street food" course to the final dessert my friend and I both agreed that the meal was a total sensory delight. A truly magical experience and one that we will repeat when next in Copenhagen.

We stepped into Kiin Kiin on an unusually hot 30 degree evening in Copenhagen. The heat may have been a contributing factor, but upon entering the restaurant we instantly felt transported to a faraway place. We were served some appetisers immediately upon sitting down, and they just kept them coming one after another, we could hardly keep up. With almost... More

A great experience! I was really surprised that less than 500 DKK bought you such a meal: fhe food, the execution and the service was just top notch.

Incredible service and a wonderful dining experience. The food is so unique and full of flavor. It was possibly the best dining experience of my life. Dish after dish of unique takes on Thai food! I am surely to be back here and to recommend this establishment to any friends visiting Copenhagen.

After doing extensive research, I decided to check out Kiin Kiin for our last meal on our trip to Copenhagen. To preface, Thai food is one of my favorite type of food. Ever. So, even though we weren't in Thailand, the opportunity to try, "The best Thai food outside of Thailand" was impossible to resist! Especially after weeks of eating... More

The tasting menu is imaginative and fun, for example, there is a cheeky offering of a bowl full of sand and shells where the (spicy, delicious) soup is hidden in a small bag under the sand, to be drunk with a straw. Fresh and startling tastes, a real experience in gastronomy. On the night we were there, it appeared that... More

Beautiful and innovative way to present food. On the other hand the flavors were quite subtle except for the dishes with chili, which was the dominant flavor. There is a fixed menu and no a la carte. There is a quite relaxing atmosphere and the sits and table are very cozy. Our favorites, the ginger beer and the beef with... More

What a trip through the excellente thai cousine! Flavoursom, delicate, potent. The entire meal, approximatly 15-18 courses, was beautifully presented with artistic flair.

The start of the evening was the highlight, with street food nibbles, a chat with the owner and a drink. Then, we were taken upstairs to our table in the restaurant area. I liked that there was no choice with the menu, and punted for a wine pairing too. The food was amazing, so tasty and well-balanced. Have tried Thai... More

Kiin Kiin is such a beautiful Thai restaurant. The service, the food, the wine... Wonderful! They only have a set menu, so make sure you understand this before you go. We had the wine pairing option and it was great (maybe a little too great... Sooo much wine!) My partner and I love Kiin Kiin and would definitely go back... More

Staying in Inner Noerrebro

Neighborhood Profile
Inner Noerrebro
Located just north of The Lakes, this neighbourhood is a melting pot of small quirky clothing stores, dozens of pizzerias and eateries of all types, a street almost entirely devoted to antiques, several microbreweries and even a couple of Michelin starred restaurants. Here you’ll also find Assistens Cemetery which is an ecclectic mix of tombstones as well as a recreational park and where you will find the tombstones of famous Danes, such as writer Hans Christian Anderson and physicist Niels Bohr. Inner Noerrebro is also home to one af the most popular theatres in Copenhagen, called Noerrebro Theatre. It shows both popular musicals and plays, as well as productions of a more experimental nature.
