We were a couple who had ordered a tasting menu. From the moment we entered the restaurant, we were taken care of in a very nice way. First we were served a lot of surprising appetizers, small and very well tasting, hot and yet very well balanced between spiciness and taste. For a European hot and spicy food can be... More

I loved Kiin Kiin. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was both kind, relaxed and professional. We went for the early 'theater menu' that is half priced (500 DKK) - highly recommended if you would like to get the Kiin Kiin experience without going for the grand tour. We were seated for 2 hours (17.30-19.30) - I know... More

This place was more than we could have expected. The food, service, ambience, experience was amazing in every way. I recommend this for a romantic night out or for you and your best friend. It is quite intime.

Prior to visiting I read that it was the only Thai restaurant outside of Thailand with a Michelin Star. Quite deservedly so. The flavours are strong in lemongrass, ginger and chilli - expectedly so. What is unexpected is are the delicate wine pairings, the theatricality of the dishes and just the general variance between dishes that fundamentally have the same... More

We went for the early sitting and we were greeted by incredible snacks with were both fun and tasty. We had edible parcels of Cashew and Prawn, Duck Sausage, Chilli Coconut Soup and many more... the highlight however was the incredible banana and coconut desert. The best I have ever had in any restaurant across the world!

Wow-went twice and both experiences did not disappoint. I was in town for business both times and wanted to experience a Michelin star restaurant. Kiin Kiin was rated highly and I was able to make reservations just a couple days in advance. Both times, when we arrived at the restaurant we were first seated downstairs for appetizers and drinks then... More

The food was super nicely made, presented and served. Delicious flavors combined in an interesting way. Unconventional Thai food, great service by the staff as well.

So came to Copenhagen in Nov for my wife's birthday, and I had made a reservation at Kiin Kiin after reading about it. This has to be one of the most amazing Gastro' experiences that we've had! A Thai Michelin star restaurant are pretty rare, so this was great. We had an 8pm reservation, and left around midnight. The service... More

We were taken to this Michelin star Thai restaurant by a local friend who loves to dine out. I was very skeptical in the first place as we travel to Thailand so often and Thai is our favourite cuisine but to have it in Copenhagen sounded strange. But we were told this restaurant was the first Thai restaurant outside of... More

Staying in Inner Noerrebro

Neighborhood Profile
Inner Noerrebro
Located just north of The Lakes, this neighbourhood is a melting pot of small quirky clothing stores, dozens of pizzerias and eateries of all types, a street almost entirely devoted to antiques, several microbreweries and even a couple of Michelin starred restaurants. Here you’ll also find Assistens Cemetery which is an ecclectic mix of tombstones as well as a recreational park and where you will find the tombstones of famous Danes, such as writer Hans Christian Anderson and physicist Niels Bohr. Inner Noerrebro is also home to one af the most popular theatres in Copenhagen, called Noerrebro Theatre. It shows both popular musicals and plays, as well as productions of a more experimental nature.
