This restaurant was on my must visit list. I am familiar with thai classic food but the modern thai cooking was a new thing for me. Everything from beginning to the end was perfect. My friend and I enjoyed every minute at this restaurant. This is a place where I definitely would love to come back.

Dinner at Kiin Kiin was a transformative experience. Since we just arrived in Copenhagen that day we booked dinner for the early sitting. We were warmly greeted by a charming host who led the way to our table in a small but cozy dining room. The order of the meal was explained - 10 rapidly served "street food" appetizers followed... Had the wonderful opportunity to eat at Kiin Kiin on a two day stay in Copenhagen. The tasting menu was fun and definitely creative. One of the small tasting was a fruity drink fashioned with a straw immersed in sand. It got the better of my husband and he pulled it up to see how they did it. The server... More

A warm welcome and so many pleasant and wonderful surprises, also a touch of magic. The food surpassed our expectations which were extremely high. Delicacies kept coming at a fast pace. Our senses were bombarded with sensations so that we departed after hours of pleasure sated and with a mild sensory overload. After such an experience a meditative stroll by... More

What is better than Kiin Kiin on a raining Friday night in July. Started with the 6 different snacks in the basement - all tastefull an inventive. Moved upstairs for the tasting menu - the dishes were well prepared, inventive and from the beginning to the end an exciting experience. We drank beer and I would recommend this drinks for... More

It was a good experience of Thai fusion food. As a Thai, all of dishes are well presented and difficult to find out what they are until you eat them. We had theater menu which has snack dishes before 4 course. We were told Aperitif was a complimentary but they charged for it at the end(150kr. each). Besides that the... More

We booked a meal here before we travelled. Having never done a Thai Michelin star restaurant before we weren't sure what to expect. It was wonderful from start to finish, with service to match ( without being pretentious). The restaurant called me in the morning to ask about dietary requirements which was good. I don't want to start describing fishes... More

We are on the side of those who found the explosions of flavor from each dish, mains as well as taster bites, extraordinary. My need to eat gluten free was fully and cheerfully met. Service met the same standard. This is in effect a Thai kaiseki restaurant -- there is one set menu (although for some courses we were given... More

Not sure if this place needs another raving review but here it is. Outstanding food, phenomenal flavors. If you a foodie it may very well be the best meal you've ever had. Reserve it for special occasions since it is a 5 hour experience and come hungry. There were some comments about safety of the neighborhood. Do not worry. Normal... More

We were astonished at the poor quality of the food and drinks here. The initial welcome was actually second to none and we were entertain and "wowed" with a series of taster bites, all of which are delicious. So it was with great expectations we went through to the main dining area. Unfortunately things went down hill from here. The... More

Staying in Inner Noerrebro

Neighborhood Profile
Inner Noerrebro
Located just north of The Lakes, this neighbourhood is a melting pot of small quirky clothing stores, dozens of pizzerias and eateries of all types, a street almost entirely devoted to antiques, several microbreweries and even a couple of Michelin starred restaurants. Here you’ll also find Assistens Cemetery which is an ecclectic mix of tombstones as well as a recreational park and where you will find the tombstones of famous Danes, such as writer Hans Christian Anderson and physicist Niels Bohr. Inner Noerrebro is also home to one af the most popular theatres in Copenhagen, called Noerrebro Theatre. It shows both popular musicals and plays, as well as productions of a more experimental nature.
