Came across this little gem of a pub on a solo trip to CPH. It can be a little daunting travelling alone but everyone at the pub made me feel really welcome, so much so I ended up back there the next evening. Loved the...cosy and quirky feel to the place. For sports fans, there’s plenty of TV screens (UCL was on at the time) and seating so you can get comfy and enjoy the match. Equally it’s a good place for after work drinks and catching up with friends at the weekend (although expect to stay all day / evening it’s that relaxed!) A big thanks to Courtney, Charlie, Adam and some random Dutch guy for keeping my glass of white wine topped up!More
The drinks are cheap and it’s a great venue. But... the owner or manager was an absolute (insert word here). I can’t believe that she is working in an industry that involves customers. She would go to tables and pick up empty glasses and as...she tried to walk through a crowded area roll her eyes and deliberately bump into them. If you asked her something from behind the bar she would be so rude to you and make you feel like *hIt. As this is an Australian bar, and coming from a fellow Aussie I feel ashamed that people would associate that with aussies. Honestly a great venue and I would recommend that you attend but the managers attitude totally sucks and Shame on her for being such a (insert word here) to your paying customersMore
Hey Katie, sorry you had this experience. I’ll have you know, though, that we’ve never had an Australian manager in the pub, well never a female one. I’m pretty sure who it was, and be assured that she’s not here no more. Which, of course,...More
Was over for the recent celtic game, after being in a couple of bars before hand, we decided to go in for "one", which ended in us spending the rest of the evening, as the craic from bar staff and owner was second to none,...really glad we found this bar. We went in again the next day to say thanks for the hospitality. When in Copenhagen, make a point of going in and having good craic with everyone. Thanks again. Eddie & NeilMore
Popped in to watch some football on a Saturday afternoon, had 4 different games on and Carlsberg was cheap all afternoon! Great atmosphere and hosts numerous supporters clubs based in Copenhagen. Liverpool, Arsenal, West Ham, Barcelona definitely liked in here. Although they show all games...so ask for a specific one. Also if bar downstairs is busy there is a nice room upstairs open in peak times. Great staff and locals!!More
I found this place on a Saturday night because I was looking to see if they'd play my (American) football game (EAGLES!) the next evening. I was travelling alone, so the evenings could get a bit lonely. I sat at the bar and had a...great time! Everyone was real chatty, and the drinks kept coming. I came back the next night so I could still watch some football! There were a bunch of Americans, English, Irish, and locals. Great little dive bar spot for sure!More
My son did his research and we were able to watch Bournemouth (0) v Liverpool (3), on a large screen while drinking wine, beer and soft drinks in a friendly and lively environment surrounded by Danes, and we think some Swedes, who seemed as passionate...about Liverpool as are. Great find.More
I was on my own staying next door at Hotel 27. I stopped 3 times and met Rob, one of the owners, as well as some bartenders and fellow customers. All friendly and welcoming to this newcomer. Had some laughs and enjoyed the company!
This bar was just a few yards from our hotel so an ideal place for us to finish the evening with a couple of drinks. It's a sports bar and the place is decorated with a lot of football related memorabilia. There were no big...sports events on while we were in Copenhagen so it wasn't as busy as it might be with a big game on. Good selection of beers. House wine came from a winebox but if it keeps the price down there's nothing wrong with that. Great service from the bar staff. Highly recommended.More
I think it's the best bar in Copenhagen. Very welcoming and the perfect mix between locals, expats and tourist. The atmosphere during Liverpool games is particularly amazing. Vainius is the best bartender there (he forced me to write that)
Wanted to watch a specific game so sent them a Facebook msgs, got a quick reply and a promise to watch them. So... apparently, if there’s nothing they’re committed to (publish on their pages) one can ask for specific games, if the can, they’ll screen...them. So I ended up there twice in one week, very happy place, good selection of alcohol and smoke free. A perfect place for a drink. Or five....More
Dropped by a day early to see if they would be showing the NBA final at 3 am. Assured us they would, and even showed their schedule. But when we arrived, they were showing some game show, and said they were closing early. Luckily, we...found the Old Irish Pub, who not only hunted for the game for us, but let us stay after closing to see the end of the game. That’s customer service.More
Hi Ican, sorry you’ve had that experience. I can only say, must do better …
Really the best location after a strong business dinner. Nice rock music! Really great personal. Funny, Nicky and familiar! The best place for BrewDog Craft beer. Perfect Sports Bar. Really appreciate time here!
Dropped by to catch the Rugby World Cup game in feb. Nice sports bar- has football downstairs and rugby upstairs Was happy on drinks as well- half price/BOGOF. Ace!! Really friendly welcoming service and food sounded good too. if you're a sports fan and want...a nice relaxing place to see the games definitely drop byMore
Been there a few times the past few years, always a good place for a bit of fun and also, to meet other ex pats in town. I always bring new people to the place and even brought my parents for a few drinks -...love it.More
