Due to covid and other stuff, it took three years bfore I managed to get back to Den Lille Fede, where I had a marvellous experience in 2019. In short, the restaurant is keeping up the good work, the gourmet experience on a budget. Seven...courses, well thought out and presented with pride and care from our polite and pleasant waiter, accompanied by perfect wine choices that fit the food and completed the taste. DLF offers a full experience of food, from well-handled fish, delicious octopus, meat so tender and well-cooked it falls apart under the fork and fresh, uplifting desserts. The atmosphere is friendly and nice and there are a lot of smiles to be seen. Still warmly recommended.More

Really good experience . Food was great. Plenty wine and our waiter Sasha from France was excellent. Not the last time we will go there.

We were a group for a set dinner, 7 dishes each, with 7 accompanying wines. The dishes includes vegetarian, fish, octopus and meat dishes. One could recognize a lot of effort in each dish, with honest attempt to be original and surprising. My feeling was...that the effort was noticeable, and the results varying in success. It was good, but not excellent. Some of the accents that were added for originality, like balsamico vinegar added to the desert, or potatoes in excess to the octopus dish, were not really good. The six or seven wines that we had were not great either, each one being OK but not more. Finally, in Copenhagen these days you are not allowed to eat your dish before a lecture on what you are going to taste is provided by the waiter. This happens now everywhere, from the best chef restaurants to hamburger joints. I find this ridiculous, and hope that this trend will go away like other unhealthy trends that appear here and there.More

Worst service ever received. Personnel without any education even though they consider themselves as a “fine dining” restaurant

Not to be taken for granted after more than a year og this Covid nightmare. This is our third visit to this restaurant - for good reason. On this very summery night, we had a table out in the yard, and the place soon filled...up. The waitstaff was extremely busy, but all smiling and friendly. Top marks for service. They serve a set menu, 5 or 7 courses, with wine pairings if you want. This is the current menu that we had: (only 5 for me..) 7 Course Menu Green Pea Soup 110,00 hand peeled shrimps – fresh peas – apple This soup was really excellent. Very fresh and lovely. Very well done to keep the shrimp so fresh and good in a hot soup. Scallop Ceviche 110,00 Radish – tomato – Norwegian lobster ADD CAVIAR + 70DKK This was also quite good, but eating caviar (and the lovely sauce) with a fork is not easy. Had to ask the waiter for a spoon White Asparagus 135,00 Mussel sauce – Seaweed noodles – wild garlic I did not eat this, my husband said it was good. Grilled Iberico Secreto pork 135,00 BBQ – onion – corn This dish was also not in the 5 course menu, and that really made me envious. I got to taste it, though, and this was easily the best course of all. Lovely grilled pork, crispy flake of corn (no cornflakes) and a lovely corn sauce at the bottom. Very fresh corn, wonderful taste. Grilled Onglet 220,00 Potatoes – nettles – leaf beds Nice, tender beef, looking good with the green and white sauces and the tiny potatoes. Full Moon Cheese 90,00 “Æbleskiv” – cherry – lemon cream From then on it all went downhill. This was a doughy lump, not at all pleasant to eat. Strawberry Swiss roll 90,00 Basil Ice-cream – vanilla – white chocolate This was not very good either. The swiss roll was dry and uninspiring. I know basil ice cream (and other weird tastes) are fashionable, but that does not mean it necessarily tastes good. I could not eat it. The strawberries were nice, though. Even though the desserts were disappointing this time, I´m sure we´ll be back. This is a charming restaurant with a high standard of food. And as I wrote in 2017 - for what you get, the price is a bargain.More

Here you can have an absolutely excellent dinner with wine menu for a low price. Good atmosphere and service are included. 7 dishes with wines, cava as a start and coffee at the end for less than 1000 kr should seem impossible, but the business...model must obviously be in order. The wines are being poured generously, in fact more than that. Personalky would prefer a little less, and instead some better wines, but all guests seemed satisfied, so the concept will probably not be changed. The waiters are very serviceminded and telle you about food / wines with good memory, but without special professional knowledge, so do not start testing for details, but again the price level must be taken into account, so it is perfectly fine. The kitchen has absolute ambitions, the best were the starters with many good details.More

Book in advance - a busy place with lots of people. Nice interior, unassuming but still stylish. Don't be afraid to sit close to your neighbours. Staff is friendly, funny, unpretentious, present and knowledgeable. And then there's the food... You choose between 5 and 7...courses, at very reasonable prices for this kind of cuisine - it is a shame to have to miss out on two of them (so don't). For the 3x7 courses I've eaten, they have ranged from good to fantastic. Nicely presented (and introduced), tasteful. If I were to complain about anything, the main course could be a little smaller (perhaps a bit too much food, all in all). The wine many is equally nice and unpretentious, and a good fit for the food. Strongly recommended!More

This is a cool restaurant with a lot of ambiance. The 5-course meal was interesting and tasty, although the otherwise-superb beef was served blue rare. I realize that chefs don't like to overcook their meat, but this was a little extreme. The wine pairing was...quite successful, even though the wines that were served were not expensive. The only exception was the final wine, a wrinkled Reisling. Horrible. An ice wine would have been a better choice. Service was excellent and knowledgable. Worth a visit.More

This is a buzzy place with friendly and efficient staff and a good location for an evening out. Food is well presented and everything tastes OK but we thought it fell well short of the promise of so many five star reviews. If you set...you expectations accordingly you will have a good time. Food. Mussel soup - absolutely delicious but without an hint of mussel flavour Cured cod - what flavour there was in the sliver swamped by chicken reduction Onglet - bordering on send back tepid and the other bits didn't really go with the steak Smoked cheese - good and filling Peach desert - nice sweet treat but nothing exceptional Good helpings of wine with the pairing. Would try somewhere else first if we return to CopenhagenMore

Den Lille Fede is a charming little restaurant serving 5 or 7 course dinners with optional wine pairings. My wife and I started with mussel soup which I honestly must say was the most delicious soup of any kind that I can remember tasting. 10...stars for the soup of a lifetime !! After the first course, everything else was very good, if not spectacular. The delicious dessert was perhaps the second best course so make sure you save room for the finale. And a special complimentary note to the excellent paired wines which were all generously poured (and continuously topped off). You will enjoy a nice evening at Den Lille FedeMore

We went for a full seven-course meal with wine, and we were not disappointed. The food was a nice hybrid of classic European (with bisque and filet of beef) and New Nordic (with crunchy surprises, unexpected tastes and the food like art on the plates)....The service was Danish in the best way, warm, informal and still correct. Our waiter was very friendly, and we appreciated his generous pouring of wine. Wine, yes. It varied from rather affordable and uncomplicated to full-taste very decent. But all the choices seemed to have been very thoughtful and the wine always matched the food. The total price was not at all unreasonable, considering all we was served and the high quality. Probably one of my best restaurant experiences ever.More
