We had a really nice evening where we used a tipster gift certificate and all the food and service was really good. The prices are quite fair.

We tracked this place down based on the recommendation of a friend, not the easiest to find but we got there eventually! When we got to the restaurant, about 8ish on a Saturday night we were surprised to find it relatively empty. Perhaps a little...too hard to find for some? It’s quite a big space so maybe it was all comparative. The menu was limited but also a pleasant surprise, of what we consider ‘posh food’. We shared an antipasta plate, followed by lamb for me and steak for him. All very tasty, as was the house red. Only shame was that they had run out of the tuna. I’d definitely recommend eating here and then exploring Christiania for the evening!More

Despite the good reviews of Spiseloppen, we were dubious as we climbed the three flights of stairs to get to it. We had just had our first glimpse of the funky town of Christiania outside and the stairway to the restaurant only reinforced what we...had expected: graffiti filled walls (quite fun to read actually), rickety stairs and doors, dim lighting. So we weren't sure what to expect at the restaurant. It's a simple decor and a little dark. And the menu is relatively small. Still, we found plenty to chose from and were happy with our choices. Two of us split a tomato and mozzarella salad as well as the rib-eye steak. Both were well prepared and delicious. Service was mediocre but didn't mar the overall positive experience. Once we were full, we headed out ready for a delightful evening exploring Christiania.More

Wow, me and my wife had an amazing dinner here, 3 course meal, aperitif, excelent main dishes and desert plus coffee and beers for around 100 Euros. On top of high quality food, service was also very good, thank you Laura for such a great...evening.More

Our last night in Copenhagen, we had been out all weekend and enjoyed the different parts of Copenhagen. We were looking for a relaxing place to Reminisce about our experiences. We found this restaurant in what can only be described as a Glastonbury style setting....The building from the outside is ablaze with graffiti, old industrial fittings and a diverse mix of people. Walk up the winding staircase and you enter an incredible restaurant atmosphere, with wonderful low beams and immediately greeted by the wonderful staff. From then on our experience for better and better. Food was great, service was better. Enjoyed everything about this restaurant. Highly recommend. Price point was incredible as well. We ate with wine for £65More

The food here is just fantastic. Amazing food and relaxed atmosphere. It is still top quality but in a more friendly and “welcome home to us” style than other restos

They bring wine bottles opened before they come to the table. Absolutely unacceptable. Food is ok. Make sure you ask them to open the wine in front of you, I seriously doubt the wine we were served was worth 395 Dkk

Friendly staff and delicious food right in the midst of Christiana. The menu is small and focused- think 3 meat specials, 1 fish special and 1 vegetarian special, with a choice of several different appetizers and desserts. Portions are generous and ingredients are fresh and well-prepared....Small but decent wine list and craft beers on offer. The dining area, on the top floor of a former warehouse, is simple and elegant, with wooden beams and candles on each table. This area of Copenhagen is worth seeing in its own right, and this place manages to be a "location" without being a tourist trap. There is no children's menu per se, but our server was happy to let our kids share a main dish.More
