This restaurant was recommended and booked by our hotel, I suggest that you book in advance as it is a busy place. The staff were very friendly and happy to give food/wine recommendations from the menu. Each dish was explained when it was presented and the food was lovely!

Very interesting cuisine here at very reasonable prices. Dishes are thought-provoking and creative with some outstanding features. We managed three courses, but couldn't quite squeeze down a dessert. Lovely buzzy ambiance and super staff. Highly recommended.

Wow, what a meal!! We chose the four course menu and enjoyed every single bite! We had baked cod fish, clam soup, fried duck and finally yoghurt ice cream. Great taste, great presentation and good service. The restaurant has a special atmosphere that is good for couples and smaller groups. We did not book a table but we came on... More

I rarely give 5 stars but this place deserves it. Had a light meal, sharing dishes. Mussel soup was amazing, especially the little tapioca balls that exploded in my mouth with every bite. Cod morsels with horseradish cream and pickled veg. Yum. The best was perhaps the duck breast with Jerusalem artichoke purée and a cider, brown butter sauce. Wow.... More

Stylish modern restaurant with hygge. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Really amazing food - real taste sensations! We had the 4 course menu and had a couple of glasses of recommended wine. The first two courses were exceptional; the main course, the duck, was not that great (and the knives they had did not help as they were not sharp) but... More

I honestly cannot recommend this restaurant enough, we had such a lovely last evening in Copenhagen. The atmosphere and vibe was so welcoming and relaxed. The 4 course tasting menu was the best value for money we found in the city and absolutely delicious, hands down one of the best meals of my life! The staff were friendly and warm.... More

We had the 4-course set menu, which was quite reasonably priced. The starter (scallops) were fantastic; the scallops were extremely fresh and sweet, one of the best we have ever had. The soup (mussel soup) too, was well presented and was mixed with different ingredients such that it was visually pleasant as well as tasty. The main (pork cheek) was... More

Not too busy on a Monday night. Fabulously unique flavours. The mussel soup was the highlight of our 5 course dinner.

Finally, a restaurant that delivers high-end food without being pretentious. Attentive service, great decor and ambience and most importantly really good food. Highlight was the mussel soup and the bread in paper bags! Would recommend for date nights and any sort of celebration meal.

Novel flavours carefully put together - presentation that is not over fussy - clean and chic - this place should really be on every foodie's itinerary. A little surprising then that some of the plates and dishes were chipped - but it did not detract from the dining experience. What was a little distressing was that- bizarrely - a strip... More

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighborhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
