When an experience is great, its always a risk to go back. And again. So with a bit off fear i went to Noma for the 3th time in 3 years, and again it was great! The fantastic and very personnal staff, the 12 courses and the matched wines, in a fantastic but not at all formal setting - i... More

I had really high expectations to Noma. Ive been visiting many michelin starred restaurant all over the world and this was yet the most overrated. The staff was amazing though. What a shame.

Having read up on Noma, my family decided to take a trip to Copenhagen to take in the Christmas atmosphere and eat at the restaurant. We were treated at the door by several staff and shown straight to our table although we were about 10 mins early. The staff were great and the services was even better. Several times thing... More

Got a seat at the shared table the morning of the reservation. Without a doubt, this was the best meal of my life. The staff were extremely courteous and attentive. Two thirds of the courses were uniquely delicious, and even the rest showcased great creativity and depth of flavor. Having been to a few three Michelin star restaurants in the... More

If You visit a place like Noma the expectations are naturally set very high. You expect a kind of culinary magic. But you do not find it... :( The food is absolutely excellent, the level very very high and consistent. From the 16 dishes in my opinion 12 were on the same level, 2 slightly higher and two slightly lower.... More

Do not pay attention to reviewers that have downplayed this place. If you know and appreciate food, you will love the ingredients, preparation and presentation. And as anyone who likes good restaurants, the really good ones are expensive and there is no other way about it. It is all about the experience and the slow pace of enjoyment of the... More

What can I say that hasn't already been said about Noma... I came in with sky-high expectations, and left totally satisfied. Here, it is all about the experience. You are greeting by the entire staff when you walk in, shown to your table and the 3 hour show begins. The food is incredible, not always mind-blowingly weird (like eating ants),... More

We were so lucky as to get a seat for four people before Noma closes, and moving to a bigger place. You cannot go to Noma and only talk about the food, it’s a total experience starting when we arrived and were greeted by the hole staff, and ended late after a round trip at the kitchen areas. The food... More

Noma is restaurant, but it is also so much more than that. It is a laboratory of taste. It is a temple of food. It is heaven for your palate. For every dish that is served here, hundreds of dishes have been tested and and twisted and tweaked, so that the dish in front of you will have the perfect... More

Yeah, the meal itself was a beautiful journey that well met all our high expectations. Not every dish was mindblowing, but most of them were, and all of them were delicious. Some made us giggle, which is a rare thing. We were two chefs and two foodies and we had a blast. Not least when interacting with the staff. They... More

Staying in Christianshavn

Neighborhood Profile
Christianshavn
Just across one of the many bridges from Indre By, you’ll find Christianshavn. An eclectic area with old brick lanes, houses dating back to the 16th century, and canals which are home to many boats and ships, some of which has been turned into restaurants or even serve as fully furnished homes. The best known attraction in Chistianshavn is Christiania, a “free town” of residents who squat on a former military area. However just a stone’s throw away from Christiania, you’ll find some of the most fashionable waterfront apartment buildings in Copenhagen as well as the splendid Royal Opera House.
