I have wanted to go here for a long time since this has been top 5 in The World's 50 Best the last years. The food and the atmosphere was a great experience. A lot of delicious flavors. My favorite dishes was "Crisp of wild roses and Danish peas" and "Steamed king crab and egg yolk sauce". I also loved... More

If you are able to obtain reservations at NOMA before they close in December, do it! The service, the food, everything was perfect. If you're unsure about shared tables or lunch, don't be. We had our name on the waiting list; had lunch and sat with 6 other people at a communal table and loved every moment. Don't miss out... More

all servings were special and delicious, only missing the perfect steak with red wine. Very knowledgeable personnel, creating an experience just for you.

Noma was the perfect place to celebrate our law school graduation. After a superb and memorable meal, a very polite young chef gave us a guided tour of the kitchens and their "laboratories". I would recommend a visit to anyone seeking a once in a lifetime experience. The resturant facilities were modern and simple, yet very exclusive. The food was... More

Frankly this restaurant is an expensive waste of time. I'm sure in the past the food was exciting and bold but now it is so overtaken with its own ego normal mitochondria like ourselves can't eat there in an enjoyable way. Service wise it was suffocating even when i asked them to slow down, which encouraged an arrogant response. My... More

There's a lot to write about this restaurant which is much more than that, but I thought most will benefit from hearing how we got a reservation which isn't impossible. Once a month the system opens up to another month. Ensure you are ready a few minutes in advance. Ideally get multiple devices working (we had tried and failed the... More

I don't want to be basis. So I needed a few more words to put myself in the right position to share my Noma experience. I travel around the world tasted more than 50 Michelin Stared restaurants, Best 50s, and Relais & Chateaux. I pretty much understand the standard of a fine cuisine. Noma. Service is good. The kitchen team... More

This is more about the experience than enjoying your favourite flavours. It's more like a luxurious food circus on a day at a museum of modern art. You may not like everything but most things are delicious and all things are brilliantly combined and followed by each other. The staff is very professional even though you can feel the stress... Wanted to go for years, but has had a very hard time to get a table. The food was experimental, as expected, good and not so good, but the wines were all Nature wines at a very poor quality and not matching the fine dining but still charged at 300 USD for the menu, which is a ripoff. Shame, shame,... More

Once we arrived, a service staff was waiting and walked us to the restaurant. The moment we stepped foot in the restaurants, a whole kitchen team including René himself!, who were in the middle of the service, just stopped everything and came to great us. The food is just brilliant!, using local ingredients in a way that no one else... More

Staying in Christianshavn

Neighborhood Profile
Christianshavn
Just across one of the many bridges from Indre By, you’ll find Christianshavn. An eclectic area with old brick lanes, houses dating back to the 16th century, and canals which are home to many boats and ships, some of which has been turned into restaurants or even serve as fully furnished homes. The best known attraction in Chistianshavn is Christiania, a “free town” of residents who squat on a former military area. However just a stone’s throw away from Christiania, you’ll find some of the most fashionable waterfront apartment buildings in Copenhagen as well as the splendid Royal Opera House.
