We stopped here several times to enjoy the wonderful food, drinks and people watching. The "Regional Dish of the Day" was wonderful the day we enjoyed it. Friendly, attentive staff completes the great experience.

When weather is nice there is outdoor dining on the square. Had the steak tartar for lunch with a cold beer to wash down, very delicious and portion was huge. Service is efficient if a bit slow but unhurried. Highly recommend a lunch stop here.

We had lunch here for 3. It was delicious and the cafe was spotless. Staff efficient and friendly. The selection is good and very fast service delivered with a smile. They even had English Menues and the staff all spoke English and were only too happy to make suggestions.

Went with a friend for wine and loved the outdoor patio! It overlooked the square and was reasonably priced. The tables were set up so beautiful and you were not on top of the guests next to you which was definitely a plus.

This bar is the perfect setting for a stop to rest your feet after a busy day walking around Copenhagen. A lovely place to watch the world go buy with a glass of champagne. Service is brilliant and staff very friendly

At the very heart of Copenhagen in one of the many downtown squares lies one of the many bistros of the city with a terrace. We choose it randomly after looking at the menu rapidly. Staff is young and very friendly despite the many tourists to be served. I had a humongous Caesar salad which was absolutely great, my wife... More

We already visited another cafe at the place where the Europa is located which was excellent. But we gave it a try for some new experience. All in all it was disappointing, unfriendly staff, the drinks and food were expensive but below average. Better cross the place and go north ;-).

Having both indoor and outdoor seating, this charming, well-located cafe in the heart of one if Copenhagen's pedestrian streets, is a good p,ace for a coffe, hot chocolate (very good) and chocolate croissant (good, flaky, not much chocolate inside). Service was pretty slow, and we had to insist on paying by credit card.

Me and my boyfriend came with an early flight (6.am from Bergen), and were starving when we arrived in Copenhagen. We went to Europa, and ordered the "Amagertorv" full english style breakfast. Along with freshly squeezed Orange juice, and good coffee. It was fantastic! Friendly and helpful staff as well. I absolutely recommend this place.

Had to search for someone to serve us initially but after that, service was fine. Ordered Eggs Benedict with salmon which turned out to be Egg Benedict but it was very good as was the wheat roll it was served on. Prices high as per all of Copenhagen but ambience was nice and we were under an umbrella so safe... More

Neighborhood Profile
Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
