We stopped at Restaurant Under Uret for lunch after visiting nearby Rosenborg Castle. The weather was beautiful so were able to sit outside and enjoy traditional Danish smørrebrød. We visited with our one-year-old son and found the staff to be welcoming and accommodating to children....The menu is extensive, with something for everyone.More

Danish 'smørrebrød'. The food is good and the service is excellent. It is hard to separate one nice 'smørrebrød' from another in Copenhagen, so you have to distinguish yourself from the competition on other areas. The service here is excellent! Positive and helpful. If you...accept the staff's suggestions you are in good hands.More

Charming old fashioned wood-panelled restaurant with beautifully served open sandwiches, all delicious. Wide selection of beers and aquavit. Very friendly and helpful serving staff. The nicest and best quality for value lunch we have had in Copenhagen. The hand-shelled prawns are to die for and...the herrings with dill aquavit on the side are sublime. The building looks plain and rather ‘local’ from the outside but don’t be put off. Tourists are made very welcome.More

This old fashioned restaurant has an extensive selection of smørrebrød and dishes. In the plate the food is home-made, well served and well done. The liver pâté was very tasty and we loved both the fish frikadelle and the meat ones. Service was very efficient...and professional. An excellent and inexpensive address that we discovered because Aamans, the trendy equivalent next door, was full. Cheers to both places!More

After a long walk I sat outside for a refreshing beer and a small lunch. It was the most delicious smoked herring and a beer with a slight taste of lemon. A very friendly waitress too.

If you want modern art on the walls, pop music in the background, French cuisine, then do not come here. This place is where the background music is people talking, the beer is classic Danish, the food tastes delicious in the old-fashioned way, the service...friendly, unobstrusive. Does quality cost? Yes, but very well worth it, you will not not regret your visit here.More

We had a delicious late lunch here in this adorable underground cafe. This place has history! The walls are covered with naive art from a former customer. You know that people regularly come here - every day perhaps. The food was delicious, reasonably priced and...the wine a great fit. The service was top-of-the-line.More

Here you can get the typical Danish food, not the finest cuisine but tasty, nevertheless. Simple atmosphere, friendly staff - everything allright. It's worth a visit (not a second though).
