First time we visited was for lunch and it was great. A lovely girl served us. We booked for dinner but the service was terrible. The girl that served us this time was so rude. I was shocked. Never asked would we like a drink...when we sat down. After we ordered we were never asked how our meal was or would we like another drink or anything. She was on her phone even though the place was very busy. Never a smile or a thank you. Thought we had found a new local restaurant but sadly not.More

Went with friends, booked at 8:15pm didn’t get seated for another 35 minutes. Took another 25 minutes to be served only because we asked a waitress who’s attitude came across as blunt and rude, the audacity for me to ask to order. Sterters came, trio...bruschetta, dissatisfied, soggy french bread that was the size of my little finger drenched in oil with a limp aubergine on top, a slice of tomato on the other and a chewy zucchini on the other. The mozzarella wrapped in Parma ham was nice but the sauce was lukewarm. Pizza was average very cheesy and oily. Spaghetti carbonara was tasty and large portion. Had a Diet Coke which was just poured out of a plastic bottle into a pint glass, no ice or lemon just warm Coke. The restaurant was busy and people walking past you knocking your chair, very annoying. Overall service and food was okay, wouldn’t recommend to a friend.More

The restaurant is located close to the Skt Petri hotel we were staying in. We visited for lunch and chose from the lunchtime special menu which is very reasonably priced. The restaurant was busy (always a good sign) and the environment is cosy and welcoming....Our food was delicious - very authentic Italian cuisine. Our host (Nicolo) was polite, friendly and helpful. It was a very good experience and we’ll eat here again when visiting Copenhagen. Recommended for excellent value for money in an expensive city to visit. RecommenMore

Arrived at about 6:45pm on Monday evening and restaurant was full, which was an indicator of the quality of the La Perla. Didn’t have a reservation but only had to wait about 20 mins at the bar for a table. My wife had the Alfredo...al Pollo & I had the the Rigatoni alla ruccola. Both meals were absolutely delicious - fresh & quality ingredients. Alfredo is my wife’s “go to” dish whenever we eat Italian & she said it was the best she’s ever had - high praise indeed! Staff were first class as was the whole experience - La Perla truly is a pearl of delight!More

Nice place for Italian food in a side street. Short but good menu for pasta, pizza and salat. Food (four different pasta dishes) tasted delicious, service was good. Also for families with kids a recommendation.

This is not Italian cuisine. This is canned food heated. The food is unseasoned. The bread is sypermarket quality. Ordered spagethetti Bolognese, classic Italian that any Italian restaurant can’t make wrong. But this restaurant hitnallnthe nodes wring. Just stay away. The general high rating of...thus restaurant must be faked.More

Pasta in this restaurant was best pasta I eat in all Denmark. Highly recommend. Four of us eat different pastas and lasagne and we are all very excited and happy with this restaurant. Stewards is very friendly and beer 1664 is great choice.

Our main dish arrived over an hour after we ordered it. We ordered, received our drinks and waited, then waited some more. In the meantime, a couple next to us who had arrived some time after us ordered, had their mains, ate them, and prepared...to leave. We finally managed to attract the attention of our waiter (who I believe was called Nico) and ask him if our main was planning on making an arrival in the foreseeable future. He assured us that our dishes will be the next ones out. A member of my party ordered another drink since we had waited so long - this was not offered for free and we were later charged for it. About 4 more dishes were brought out, and brought tantalisingly close to us, before being served to others around us. A party came in and sat down near us, ordered their meal and had it brought out to them. Eventually, after we were near delirious with hunger and had pretty much given up hope of ever seeing our meal, it was brought out to us with no word of apology, over an hour after having been ordered. The food was indifferent. We had 2 lasagnes and a pasta arrabbiata - all lacked any real depth, taste and richness. We shared a rocket salad with parmesan and a balsamic dressing which was the highlight - very tasty and much enjoyed. On receiving the bill we were shocked to see that we had been charged the full amount, including the drink my father had ordered after waiting so long for the main. We requested to see the manager to ask for a discount. The manager spoke very little English and failed to understand what we were saying. He brought another waiter over to act as an interpreter. In the end, the manager took our bill away and, after much deliberation with the waiter which seemed entirely unwarranted, gave us a 10% discount, which didn't seem much. He offered no word of apology. All in all a very poor experience. Very average food and very poor service.More

We ordered a pizza and a pasta and waited for 55 minutes. Didnt get any bread in the meantime. After the 55 minutes the waiter approached us, and asked us what we had ordered. No execuse or anything. We finally got our food after 1...hour and 15 minutes.. The pasta with pepper was almost just cream with no taste of pepper.More

A bit disappointing. I usually rate Italian restaurants by whether they make a real Carbonara, or if they use cream in the sauce. The tuna salad was nice, but the entire place feels a bit like it is trying too hard to dress up as...what northern Europeans thinks is Italian.More
