If you like your craft beers the Mikkeller is a must visit. Small, quaint, friendly and craft beer galore. Perfect find for my partner. They have also opened a larger version in the meat packing area which is a must visit too called Warpigs

Hidden in a quite street in Vesterbro is this local craft beers cafe that taps a lot off self made excellent beers. The bar is in a small cellar and has a terrace with long tables and benches on the street curb. Some nights there's a bbq outside on the terrace. On most nights this place completely fills up with... Have heard about this place from many of our European friends...and now we know why. Beers were in a league of their own! Shame they did't have any real snacks to speak off...just Chorizo and pickles...but otherwise a def thumbs up for a place to spend a few hours!

Massivly crowded but in a better way and great beers of course. You can sit outside as well, there is a grill party feeling like with your best friends... Good to see.

I ran across the name of this Beer bar on some list, which one of my FB friends shared. Mikkeller is, all right, amongst 10 best beer bars in the world. SInce I was staying at hotel Løven from whose window I could see the corner of Vesterbrogade and Victoriagade, where Mikkeller is placed, so I thought: why not try... More

My wife and I have a passion for beer. Copenhagen is great for beer if you like Budweiser. That is unless you find Mikkeller. They have a massive selection of unique beers, including several IPA's. It is not well marked, so if you use Google maps it works just look around a bit. The place is always packed and generally... More

If you love beer then this place is a must! There was 20 variety of ales and beers to chose from when we visited. First night my wife enjoyed the Mikkeller Spontancassis (Raspberry flavoured)and I had Mikkeller Vesterbro Wit, both were beautiful. So much so that we went back and sampled a few more the following evening. Can be busy,... More

This little gem is tucked away in a small side street where locals go to hang out for a beer...not really. This is where you go when you want to hang out with all the other wannabe beer afficionados and tourists reading tripadvisor. Bee is good, but the feeling of being surrounded by hundreds of tourists really does make this... More

Was staying in the hostel across the street so thought I would go in for an afternoon beer. It was amazing, just tried the number 1 pilsner and I will be going back after dinner!

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighborhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
