Lots of special beers, tastes to suit everybody. Nice service with possibility to taste the different beers before deciding. Very nice experience.

I do like this place. A little small so can get crowded but the beer selection and passion of the staff is second to none. The original Mikkeller bar and still the best.

This is a beer pub. There are about 20 beers on tap from very plain to very special, all made by the Mikkeller microbrewery. I tried a couple of them but none was much to my liking. They were very interesting and different than I ever had though and the experience was worth the effort and (high) cost. There are... More

This bar was near out hotel in coppenhagen - i loved this bar because of their great selection of beer, their picnic tables on the sidewalk and the great vibe in this charming bar where it was great to just chill out on a perfect june eve in coppenhagen. A great experience that should not be missed.

Fantastic beer selection in a fun bar. Prices are a bit expensive (this is Copenhagen after all) but well worth it. The bar can get crowded but there are patio tables outside. You are advised to make reservations for the adjoining restaurant. We tried to walk in and were told that there would no tables for the entire evening.

We went to the Mikkeller on a Saturday night after having dinner. The pub is only small and was very busy but we found a little corner to sit in. Good selection of beers, to suit all tastes. Would definitely recommend.

This place is well worth a visit if you're a beer lover. We were there mid/late afternoon on a Saturday and it was quite busy and we had to wait a while to get served at the bar. It's not cheap (as with Copenhagen in general) but I'd definitely recommend it for the choice and quality of beers available.

The bar was so full when we visited, but the sercive was quick and friendly. I'm not the biggest friend of beer, so I enjoyed a glass of white wine. My companion on the other hand loved the place with over 20 different type of beer. Some of the flavor were quite extraordinary!

This is the perfect spot for an afternoon drink in Copenhagen. The beer is so fresh and the options are amazing for a place so small. Seat outside if you can.

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighborhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
