We had the tabor d'hôtel 3course evening meal at a cost of 330 krona each and it was extremely good. each course was very well presented and of high quality. The meal that evening which changes daily was fois gras on a really fresh perfectly dressed salad, monk Fish in a pasta dish and chocolate bombe. All faultless at this... More

Our experience was at the very least striking in this restaurant. To be fair I should start saying that the food was very good but the whole experience was spoiled by the manager´s deplorable behaviour. We were a six people party and had to wait about two hours (yes, 2!) to get the main courses . When we complained very... More

This excellent brasserie is situated close to the center of Copenhagen. We had a three course dinner with wine: foie gras salad with Austrian Grüner Veltliner, fish and tagliatelle with red Bordeaux! and chocolate mousse with a sweet Italian Asti. The food was excellent and the food-wine match was OK. Service was quick and friendly and the meal was very... More

I went to this place with the hope to have a nice dinner with five more colleagues tonight. We had to wait more than two hours until all of us got served. Those who had ordered only a main dish didn't have anything to eat almost until eleven in the evening. The temperature of the room was too high but... More

This is a charming cafe style French restaurant. The service is friendly and attentive without being over the top. The food on the other hand is excellent. My fish soup starter was as good as any that I've had and the main of tenderloin was superb. The portions were generous and good value. The fondant was to die for and... More

We had an excellent meal in Brasserie Degas. There is a choice of a daily menu of 3 courses or the al a carte menu so we had one of each and shared the starter and pudding. There was plenty of really good food for both of us. Wine was expensive but, hey, this is Scandanavia! A definite recommendation.

The food was delicious! W had the Beef Tenderloin and the Monkfish. Sauces were awesome, best food we've had all week. The quality and value are great. We were not able to get a reservation at Noma so we can't comment on that one, but this was truly delicious food. There is also the option of having a 3 course... More

We had fois gras for starter and duck breast for main course and finished with mini dessert. Awesome restaurant that we recommend.

Staying in Frederiksberg

Neighborhood Profile
Located between Noerrebro and Vesterbro you’ll find Frederiksberg, which is actually a municipality in itself but completely surrounded by Copenhagen. Here there are several fine theaters, from the experimental to the great Det Ny Teater (The New Theater) which specializes in transcribing the great London and New York musicals into Danish, and has done so for several years with huge success. In Frederiksberg you’ll find Denmark’s most beautiful (and expensive) city villas. These 4-5 square miles form the Beverly Hills of Copenhagen. Here you’ll also find Frederiksberg Have (Garden) which sports huge outdoor concerts, from classical to electronic dance music. To top it off, dining options range from cozy family restaurants to some of the area’s most trendy cafés.
