Marv & Ben is the place to go when you want to really enjoy flavours, but also be surprised. The creativity that you are exposed to here is on a level you don't see often- what a treat. The menu consists of a number of small dishes so after 4-5 you will be more than satisfied. I am not going... More

I went with the 4 course and wine parring. The first 2 was appetizers. The scallops had no flavor, even though it was a chervitze, the salmon was just ok. The meat dish was their pork(gris) it had quite a bit of fat and was VERY over cooked.. The setting in it self, was very nice, and the service good.... More

Very quaint and cozy restaurant within walking distance from downtown Copenhagen. We chose the chefs choice with wine pairing, our server was excellent and knowledgable. The meal was superb and ingredients were explored as I never had before, the chef really pleased us all. Celery ice cream?!?! A bit pricey but worth it.

We went here on the suggestion of a taxi driver and were thrilled that we took his advise. The restaurant is small, so I'd make reservations, and has an intimate feel to it. It is definitely not the average restaurant and you can tell that immediately from the decor. But you're still not wholly prepared for the food which combines... More

Really liked the place itself. Stylish minimalistic surroundings but still warm. The waiter showed very nice and she also did very nice presentasjons during the evening. The food was very mixed. We had the recommended 5 course meal with the wine recommendations that followed it. Some of the dishes were exceptional but other were not that lucky. The wines were... More

My expectations were high before this dinner visit and the meal was high class, but not impressive. The atmosphere inside is great and the location is really nice, old part of Copenhagen, quiet street with typical houses. Down in this basement you more or less enter into the kitchen. Nice! Food: Scallops with mandarin for starters and the chocolate brownie... More

Impulsive choice for a good school night out. The introduction of the concept was very honest and the estimate on 4-5 courses per person was also correct. I had the 3 starters and the 4 main courses to get a realistic impression and ensure to be full. My guest had two starters and two mains including the suggested wines as... More

Visited this restaurant in early January and it was the one of highlights of the whole trip (bar the polar bear at the zoo) . The menu set up was genius, the service was great on a busy evening and the food was everything a tasting menu should be. We had a brief chat with the chef upon leaving and... More

A nice restaurant with a good selection of wine and a chef that has lots of fun in the kitchen. This is the place to be amazed of the kitchen skills and the chefs use of the produces of the day.

Neighborhood Profile
Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
