We went there highly recommended by a friend, craving for Indian food after moving to Copenhagen but were completely let down by the options as well as taste of vegetarian dishes.None of the items drew appreciation from our taste buds. There are far better options in Copenhagen when it comes to Indian food. Not recommended.

Probably the worst Indian meal I've ever had. 150 DKK for a few thin slices of Tandoori Paneer Tikka covered in food coloring. Bhindi Masala was over-salted. Butter Chicken was unrecognisable, with a few shreds of meat floating in a sea of oil. Tandoori roti and naan were soggy and had probably never seen a tandoor. I rarely give a... More

We enjoyed a lovely dinner here after exploring the city on a cold October day so spicy food was just the ticket to warm up! The place was busy when we arrived but we were seated promptly. They had a buffet and there were some diners taking advantage of it, but we decided to order a la carte as we... More

For a formal and official business dinner this was the best choice one could have made for Indian co-partners. The buffet showed all needed in a traditional Indian dinner and all well made by the Indian chief and was chosen from the a la carte menu. Expect low key design and interior nevertheless this is a restaurant to invite Indian... More

Enjoyed a buffet dinner here with an Indian tour group. Was advised to maintain our appointed time and found other groups had their time slots allotted. Had to wait till the batch before left. But the wait was worth as the food was tasty and suited our palate. Normally we find some common gravy added to the chicken/veg items in... More

Not very big, but nice Restaurant serves Indian cuisines. Dishes appear to be more like home cooked rather than hotel food which is generally too spicy and oily. When you are out on tour for long you crave for home food. A well stocked bar. Staff is nice. Besides A La carte, they serve predetermined dishes meal also (Thali system... More

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighborhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
