Portion sizes were great but food had no flavour. Burger was 80% red onion and pesto tagliatelle just tasted like plain past with som veggies. Tasted like massed produced food with little care given.

Tagliatelle was a little bit overcocked. But the taste was good. Try the hamburgers instead. Nice place with lots of students.

I went to Paludan three times during my week's stay in Copenhagen. I loved everything about it. I was traveling alone, so I was a little nervous about finding places to dine where I wouldn't feel conspicuous. The atmosphere at Paludan is perfect, whether one is dining alone, reading, working, or grabbing a bite with several friends. I loved being... More

Eccentric decor, delicious food in generous portions. First place in Copenhagen that really fit my gluten free needs. We will return again this visit. The Greek Salad was excellent and served with the best gluten free roll I've had in a while. My husband had the Chili Con Carne. It included rice and a side salad. If you are coming... More

Our visit was ruined by the behavior of one of the employees deployed by intolerance, racism and discrimination. He followed me into the street to "forbid" me about giving a coyote of bread solo es with some salmon to a homeless person. He continued yelling at me about how the policy of the place doesn't allow to give food to... More

The setting is a book shop/library. The atmosphere is casual and the service is prompt. We arrived in the middle of a storm and the place was packed, but we pretty quickly found ourselves a table to squeeze in at. The food was delivered quickly and it was all well delicious. The burger was juicy with loads of topping and... More

I expected much more after reading the reviews here - but what I have experienced was lets-put-all-the-leftovers soup with no taste and the driest burgers I ever had in my life. As a coffee place, really good atmosphere but that's it. Have to give it to them also that considering the other places in the city, their menu is not... More

What a great place! The service, food, atmosphere and seating is excellent! I spend a lot of time in Copenhagen with work and this is my new favourite place. My favourite is the brunch platter. Make sure you are hungry before visiting, as the portion sizes are huge!

In fact, only the little hall is accessible. Steps in front (sitting room and toilets) and steps on the left ( desk to order the meal). Please, come ready to eat a good food and go away!!

Neighborhood Profile
Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
