Just in the middle of the meatpacking district, pate pate is a true gem.
The food is delicious and In small bites style. It is recommended to order 3 small dish per person but, I must say, the portion are quite generous and we were...More
Only one thing I hold against Pate Pate: they’ve been succesfully stopping me from trying anything new in Copenhagen; why would you, if you know this place always is so bloody good. As on previous occasions, the menu is pleasantly weird, rough in a nice...More
Pate Pate is one of oldest restaurants in meat town, located in Vesterbro, Copenhagen. It sits in the super trendy former meat packing district. Like most restaurants and bars in this area they still keep a semblance of the abatoirs that once thrived in theses...More
This was a great find in the meat packing area. Very close with in walking distance to the hotel we were at ( Copenhagen island). The food was excellent. They suggested 3 dishes per person but we took 2 each and shared the risotto. That...More
Found this place by chance. Went back twice as you can choose from a sharing menu and have just what you want. We only had one dish each but it was plenty for us, most people had 2 or 3! Very friendly staff but you...More
Delightful find in a neighborhood filled with funky little places. Service was excellent, tapas style dishes were consistently inventive and well-executed. Fun atmosphere with large loud tables and smaller rooms. Would love to return one day!
The atmosphere at this restaurant situated in the trendy meatpacking district ( I know that sounds like an Oxymoron!) was great.
Pate pate was apparently the offal processing section, hence the name.
The food was a selection of 3 small/ medium plates from a list,...More
We came in the evening after a reservation for dinner and were happy to sit between all this lucky, lout discussing people. The atmosphere was very cosy, the service friendly and fast and the dishes delicious. We enjoyed also a nice Friulano white wine from...More
Food, service, staff, and atmosphere all on show here and a fantastic example of Copenhagen dining.
We ate a selection of starters at the bar accompanied by cocktails and beer. There was no shortage of help and service throughout our evening. Recommended.
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and
hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
