A very well presented restuarant/bar on the main street. Very good service and portion size good, all food looks as though it is made on site at the time of order. Would 100% recommend!
Good selection of beers and cocktails available!
Café pelikan is one of my personal favorites on amager. The food is very good quality but maybe a little bit on the expensive side. Down side is the few tables inside. The staff is working fast and are very friendly. Definitely worth a visit...on a cosy evening out or for a nice dinner date.More
I came here for a hungover lunch and really needed to eat. I was going to play it safe with a burger but something told me to go for the fried noodles with shrimps. And I’m so glad, I was raving about it for days...to anyone who would listen! Will definitely be back on my next visit to Copenhagen.More
Stopped in here after looking around for a place for a quick dinner. My friend and I both got burgers. I got the Pelikan Chilli Burger and it was very good. Very friendly staff and reasonably priced meal.
My husband and I ate here a few times May, 2018. The cook went out of his way to explain how he prepared food to assure me it was not contaminated with gluten. He also made me extras that weren't on the menu-clearly takes pride...in what he does. A cosy restaurant with good vibes. Servers very friendly and helpful. I didn't feel it was expensive.More
We passed this little bistro on the way into town each day and twice we made a stop off on our way in for a late breakfast/brunch to set us up for the day. Lovely service (excellent from the blonde lass the first time and...ok from the man the second time) Food was excellent quality both times and the coffee nice. We really liked the vibe of this little place and it was always busy when we were heading home late on an evening so is obviously very popular. Not expensive by Copenhagen standards.More

In the eastern part of this neighbourhood, visitors will discover Amager Strandpark, a beach area which has become increasingly popular. It’s only a 30 minute bicycle ride or a 10 minute Metro trip away from the city center. Only a few hundred yards inland, some of the most creative musicians, artists, and writers in Copenhagen are occupying some of the old storage houses and production facilities. The western part is
one of Copenhagen's most rapidly evolving areas, here you’ll find international architecture of the highest rank, the state of the art TV-Byen (the Danish pendant to BBC), a golf course as well as Copenhagen's best (and tiniest) ice bar.
