Copenhagen is spoilt for choice, so when one has decided to sample each Michelin star restaurant, one has a lot of restaurants to visit. This time, it was Restaurant Alouette. I had read good things about it, so I had high expectations. We walked from...Kødbyen, and as we approached the restaurant address, we were stopped by a lady and a gentleman who asked us whether we were looking for Alouette. I confirmed, and then they welcomed me by name. It's a small thing, but it really set the stage. And from there, it only got better. The attention to *you* is outstanding. Everyone are so aware of you, that you almost get the sense that they understand how much you will enjoy the next dish before you have tasted it. The food is of insanely high quality, and the head chef presents the dishes in person before each serving. The wine was a perfect match, and they are quite generous with it too. This was a fantastic, fabulous experience, and I am lucky to have experienced it. I will definitely return.More

We (my wife and me) visited Alouette during a long weekend in Copenhagen (we are from Berlin). The evening started with the taxi driver being a little bit desperate as he was sure that in that area no restaurant can be found. But here was!...Being guided to the restaurant and to our table we felt very welcomed and where surrounded by a very relaxing atmosphere. We took the full Alouette experience and it was one. To cut a long story short: Excellent food, of course you like some dishes more than others, but for my taste the worst dish was great and the best fantastic. The selected wines were partly excellent companions of the food, one or two haven't met my taste completely. But all of them were chosen with an idea or concept, which brings me to another ingredient of a brilliant evening: The service was both professional and personal, just right. To um it up: A perfect experience, thanks to the whole teamMore

There are Michelin star restaurants, and then there are MICHELIN STAR RESTAURANTS. Alouette falls into the latter category. When you eat at a Michelin star restaurant, you expect delicious food, creative and disciplined presentation and impeccable service, and Alouette delivers. But where Alouette stands out...are in the genuine sense of joy, happiness and care that goes into each person's dining experience. From the moment you are met--on the street--by Andrew Venezuela himself, and taken on a tour of their incredible courtyard space and graffiti entrance (as if it were the first time he had given the tour--with THAT much enthusiasm). to the impressive detail that helps to create a stunning restaurant atmosphere--yes, the restaurant is gorgeous, and EVERY detail, down to the cords of the lamps disappearing into thin air, join to create a visually stunning environment. And the FOOD. incredible juxtaposition of local ingredients are combined to create a feast for all of your senses. But let me finish again with just the joy and happiness vibe that emanates from each staff member--you get the feeling that this is opening night, and they are not only excited to be serving you, but that they are all best friends getting together to do so. so, yes, it is definitely a MICHELIN EXPERIENCE, ALL CAPITAL LETTERS not to be missed!More

Alouette's offers a five-course menu where every dish (and the starting snacks) are based on ingredient that they take great pains to highlight. It therefore doesn't offer the wild, exotic, surprising taste experiences that many similar restaurants do, but the quality was incredibly high throughout,...and the sheer experience of peas, asparagus, monkfish, chicken & strawberry meticulously prepared and accompanied by carefully selected spices & sauces was delightful. The room is beautiful, the juice menu - which we both had - is tasty, the entrance (they share a building with active rehearsal rooms for fledgling rock bands) is surprising, and the service was attentive and extremely friendly.More

Hands down the best restaurant and most fun / interactive dining experience. If you’re thinking of booking, please please do it and do the “full experience”, you wont regret it! The staff are so welcoming, knowledgable and they catered for a vegetarian perfectly. (My partner...isn’t veggie and they could do the tasting menu to cater for both dietary needs) I cannot speak highly enough of this place! Thank you so much!!More

We have been here for dinner. The food was top notch, altough i must say that the portions are really rather small, even for a michelin star restaurant. The location is amazing and very stylish. The highlight of the evening was our waiter, some irish...lad, unfortunately i can't remember his name. But he really went above and beyond and was outstanding in every way. Overall we would visit again.More

Despite living in the neighborhood this was our first visit to Alouette - and what a great experience. The restaurant is refurbished with casual respect for the original place. Perhaps difficult to find but we were greeted outside and taken to the lift to the...restaurant (which is really something else!) The service was fantastic - super friendly almost family like and relaxed atmosphere. The food was simply amazing - the pre-set menu came in a perfect flow and every dish was a masterpiece without getting too avantgarde. Simply super value for money compared to other Michelin Restaurants in Copenhagen.More

Enjoyed a great meal evening here with my wife for our wedding anniversary. It would be a hard place to find, if you didn’t get a taxi. Service was top class from being met on arrival to departure. Loved the 5 course tasting menu and...wine selection, all served with an informative introduction to the food by the owner and his team. Apart from the food being fantastic, had an enjoyable evening chatting to the staff, who were more than happy to top up my wine glass when it was looking empty. A Michelin Star restaurant with a difference !!More

The food and wine were truly amazing! This...is one of our best restaurant experiences at any price.More
