Wonderful food and reasonable prices considering the quality of the food. Adding more cocktail options to the card would be recommendable

We visited Brace during dining week and we had high expectations. Unfortunately they were net met at all. We had a 3 course dinner, with a small starter, tartar with little taste, a very small portion of risotto with little taste and sorbet for desert....We left the restaurant hungry and missed a mail course. The wine menu consisted of 3 glasses of wine that were so small they should be ashamed. The service was good though.More

Brace is beautifully located in the center of Copenhagen. The interior is stylish and all furniture seems thoughtfully picked out. Great surroundings for a good dining- experience. In addition, we felt well taken care of all night, and enjoyed the "down to earth" approach, in...contrast to how most Michelin-starred restaurants wont even let you go to the toilet alone. With a total of 12 servings, the Brace Experience menu is a delightful journey of well plated dishes. Our waiters were charming, easy to understand and easy-going. All servings were good; aesthetically pleasing to the eyes, and all of them tastet very good. However, none of the 12 servings were mind-blowing, and none of them made us wanna shout out loud in pure excitement. And that is in a way expected at this price tag. In total: We had a solid night at Brace, but despite a great atmosphere and a large number of beautiful and tastefull servings, the food in total came off a bit anonymous compared to other places that we have visited in the area.More

In these troubled times some of Copenhagens best restaurants are trying to survive by offering their cooking as take-away, which has some obvious advantages - you get to eat high-end quality food at a much lower price; especially if you cater for wines yourself. On...the flipside it is of course never exactly as intense as having the full experience of the service and the wine menu - and menu will need to be adapted to something which can travel. But it is remarkable what they can offer even with these constraints, and it is a very trueful reflection of the high quality which you will experience at Brace once we can all go back there. The menu is very extensive even for the situation; and the flavours were definitely there in all dishes. I strongly encourage the initiative and fully support these local restaurants so they will pull through; and believe Brace will definitely be on my list again - and of course on site as soon as possible!More

We had dinner at Brace on Truffle Tuesday and it was an absolutely mouthwatering experience. The truffle was perfectly balanced in every dish and even the dessert had truffles in it. The whole experience from the restaurants decor to the service was a delight.

Very cozy restaurant with a fusion of traditional and modern decorations and amazing atmosphere. We chose the tasting menu of ten courses and this was great, nothing disappointed. At the same time, no food orgasms either. A couple of dishes came close, but I suspect...the slightly sub-standard wine pairings contributed to this. Most of the wines were good and some interesting new varieties were presented. They just didn't mesh perfectly with the food in most cases. The standout here I have to save was the service. From the moment we walked in we felt like VIPs and it just kept going. All the staff we well versed on the dishes, wine and ingredients and service was prompt and highly professional, which really lifted the experience to another level. I will definitely be returning.More

The food, service and ambience were excellent. The advice regarding wine-pairing was knowledgable and relevant. Brace succeeds in its ambitions in giving its guests a high-end gourmet experience. Bravo Brace!

Our party had the set four course tasting menu, and all agreed that the food was superb. Unfortunately the same could not be said for the (all white) wine selection which the restaurant chose to pair with the food. Only one of five, a pleasant...and not too sweet offering with the dessert course, could be described as acceptable. Two of the rest, and one cloudy offering in particular, could easily have been mistaken for cider. None were of the standard that the food deserved. Our experience illustrates two general issues. First, be very wary of accepting (usually at inflated prices) a "wine menu" - over which you have no control - rather than buying your own choice of wines by the glass or bottle. A decent restaurant should have a range of wine available by the glass (not least when the prevailing wine prices are as high as those at Brace.) Another general issue is that many restaurateurs now appear so keen to emphasise their environmental credentials that they prioritise the production process, eg "organic" or "biodynamic", over the quality of the final product. In this case, as also last year at another renowned Copenhagen establishment, the trade-off was most definitely not to the customer's advantage.More

Innovative and nice tasting menu! Liked the modern interior and best of all was the staff. Very professional and friendly. I got a piece of fish that was not perfect but I did not mention it - got a free dessert anyway because they noticed....Well done.More

Tried the tasting menu and so glad I did! The dishes was a great combination of superb flavors and exiting combinations of ingredients. This Italian gem is definitely worth returning to Copenhagen for.
