On a breezy September afternoon, we sat snuggled in by the canal-side enjoying the quiet, the excellent service and a delicious Danish lunch. I had the Christianso herring with an apple-ginger drink and my spouse had the fried flounder with shrimp and a Jacobsen's Brown...More

A great restaurant just a short walk from the Christianshavn Metro stop. Food was very good & atmosphere and ambiance outstanding. A countryside setting in the midst of an urban area.

We had dinner at Ravelinen on a quiet Sunday evening in June, and were very happy we decided to try it. Hard to believe this restaurant is right in the heart of Christianshavn. The setting and atmosphere are lovely, and our table directly faced the...More

This restaurant was chosen purely based on reviews. The outside doesn’t look that appealing, however large restaurant window opens up onto a beautiful lake. We both enjoyed pork cheeks, which were delicious and finished the evening with selection of Danish cheeses. The restaurant was empty...More

If you like traditional open sandwiches this is the place to try. Definitely in the best end of the scale in CPH with great service and a beautiful location.

We had dinner here on the back of the TA reviews and weren’t disappointed. The service was friendly and helpful, the food was lovely and the view tranquil. The prices were fair to. Well worth a visit!

Just across one of the many bridges from Indre By,
you’ll find Christianshavn. An eclectic area with old
brick lanes, houses dating back to the 16th century,
and canals which are home to many boats and ships,
some of which has been turned into restaurants or even
serve as fully furnished homes. The best known
attraction in Chistianshavn is Christiania, a “free
town” of residents who squat on a former military

Restaurant Ravelinen is Danish kitchen at ist best - in 2016 nominated by the Danish food critics to best restaurant in Denmark. Ravelinen is a cosy garden restaurant overlooking the water around Christianshavn - 200 meters from Christianshavn Torv with Metro access. The garden can be covered by large awnings at the touch of a button, and our two pavilions offer cozy indoor environment. So a nice and informal setting overlooking the water - right in the center of town We make all our food with care so that the vast majority are made from scratch with fresh Danish ingredients and menus will continuously change how to follow seasonal ingredients.
