Albeit, the a la carte menu card may not be a big one it has the essentials including a fine selection of beers. We had starters and main courses and they were all splendid. The schnitzel especially was delicious and cooked exactly as ordered. View out on the canal just added to the nice atmosphere. Recommended!

This restaurant makes some great typical Danish food! For you tourists out there who definitely want to have Danish food I definitely recommend this place. Although, one thing is portion is European like, small portions. Lastly this restaurant has a view of a canal!

Our First Danish brunch and a perfect setting. Usual dilemma on what to eat but found a beef dish that was great (apart from the horse radish my fault). Great staff great surrounding for people watching while eating would love to see it at Xmas Time. Food was great especially the breads

The restaurant has a large outdoor seating area with most of it covered. It is set right on a lake too which adds to the lovely ambience. Overall the food was just ok. My husband got weinerschnitzel that unfortunately was just like a large breaded pork chop. It had not been pounded thin the way you would expect. I chose... More

I leaved on Amager for 17 years and this is the first time trying Ravelinen, I ordered the shooting star (Stjerneskud) and as you can see on the picture, I have had better and cheaper versions than this one. I think you pay to much for to little.

made for a special dinner with friends. The wiener schnitzel was delicious, and there was so much of it! Although there was a limited menu, we all found something delicious to eat for dinner. The location and the restaurant ambience made the evening. The roof was off the dining room, and we caught a marvelous sunset, and enjoyed the noises... More

Staying in Christianshavn

Neighborhood Profile
Just across one of the many bridges from Indre By, you’ll find Christianshavn. An eclectic area with old brick lanes, houses dating back to the 16th century, and canals which are home to many boats and ships, some of which has been turned into restaurants or even serve as fully furnished homes. The best known attraction in Chistianshavn is Christiania, a “free town” of residents who squat on a former military area. However just a stone’s throw away from Christiania, you’ll find some of the most fashionable waterfront apartment buildings in Copenhagen as well as the splendid Royal Opera House.
