We enjoyed our coffee and a small treat at this lovely cafe, centrally located but still far away from the bustling streets. Worth s visit!

Excellent coffee served by very friendly barista. Snacks available. Seating inside and out. Located close to the Little Mermaid. Thanks for the vote if you found this helpful.

Written on the chalkboard outside. Okay, maybe it's not true but maybe 1 or 2 along the way. Nice little coffee house with great coffee just across the park from the Kastellet. Excellent, friendly and personable service. We went twice, once in each direction!

Copenhagen is a great city for espresso, and Kafferiet is one of the cafès that helps to uphold that reputation. I would say it is even better than Coffee Collective, which is also excellent. I came to Kafferiet twice during my honeymoon and the espresso was a great treat both times - nutty/caramel-y and full bodied, but with very little... More

Worth diverting for if nearby for good coffee and a small selection of cakes and rolls. Enjoy the decor and independence of this place. Service is just as quirky (some may deem it indifferent) but engaging too. We cycled across Copenhagen to return for breakfast having visited as part of the Segway tour the previous day so we obviously liked... More

Coffee was not strong enough. Cappachino tasted like warm milk. Muffin was just OK. Prices were about average 22-50dkk). Hot chocolate was good but with dark chocolate. Staff was friendly which was a plus.

We walked past mid-afternoon & the smell of great coffee dragged us in! Friendly staff, great coffee, and lovely view of the park. Blankets provided. Loved it.

It's a small cafe but good for a quick coffee on the go. They also offer small breakfasts, cakes, cookies and muffins. Unfortunately not much space to sit in so its more for grabbing a coffee on the go.

This is a good coffee shop with some food options as well. We came here several times for breakfast during a recent stay at Hotel Babette Guldsmeden down the street. Staff is very friendly and the coffee is very good.

Neighborhood Profile
Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
